Hey boys and girls.. So i’m 16, and i’m turining 17 in october.. Thing is:
I’m about 1.65 cm’s and i’m a boy. For quite a period of time my height didn’t bother me, and i’m not completely sad about it anyways.
But now it bothers me from time to time… All of my friends are pretty much towering over me, which i can live with.. I’m a bright guy that speaks his opinion and all that, but sometime it just gets to me.. That i’m the little one.
My father is more than 6’0. I am taller than my mother, actually quite alot taller, she is very little. in the 50′s.
Both of my brothers are in the 70′s, my oldest brother is 1.76 cms i think.
What really gets to me is.. Why the hell haven’t i reached the same height as my brothers?.. I want to be atleast 5,7 tall.. For a male, don’t i deserve that?
To be honest, all the above will help you to be healthy and live a good life and will help promote good growth while you’re still young and growing. I’m not the tallest of guys either, but I deal with it all the time, I am what I am and I’m thankful for that.
I think all of the above things are just overall good ideas to live a healthy life and feel energized. As far as helping you to grow, certainly eating right will give you the potential building blocks to reach your potential. However, I think that only goes so far before genetic factors come into the picture.
that’s true. my mom is short while my dad is only a little taller. I’m in between. but my younger sister is almost my height and shes not even 15. I want to belive that I would grow more but who knows. it’s on my to do list.
