Any ways to grow taller quicker?
I’m 13 years old. I’m 5’1-5’2. I really need to grow taller for basketball. My mom is 5’1 and my dad is 5’7. i read stuff on other peoples answer saying that its genetics ill grow as tall as i can get but im afraid ill be short for the rest of my life. Is there any way i can grow taller naturally w/out taking pills or other dangerous stuff.

Hey!
I did a study on height so hopefully I can help you.
Based on your parents heights nature is kind of against you growing much taller. Do you know how tall your grandparents are/were?
Naturally, if you exercise and make sure you have good posture (ie stand up and sit up straight) that will make you as tall as possible. If you have bad posture it makes you look shorter.
For the basketball, it isn’t always the tall players who are best. Sometimes shorter players do well, so I guess just focus on how you play.
Otherwise I have loads of advice on how to look taller than you really are. If you want to chat more just contact me through my profile.

Several answers: stilts, heels, platforms, but the bottom line – genetics.
Enjoy being short. We live longer than tall people, never have to worry about bumping our heads, fit in smaller places, and can get people to help us get things off the top shelf at the store.
And if you’re good at basketball then they’ll let you play. But they won’t give you growth hormone (at least in the u.s.) at your height just so you can play basketball.
So, eat a good diet, get plenty of sleep, practice basketball, and take what life gives you. That’s about all you can do.
It’s all genetic, so there is no way to grow taller quicker at all. Milk will help strengthen your bones but it wont help you grow any faster.
There are surgeries you get to make you taller but even they take years to do.
They break your legs and stretch them then they have to heal and do it again and again. Seen a program about it on National Geographic channel.
Just to let you know, a male on average is typically 2 inches taller than there dad not sure about female but your parents aren’t that tall.
Plenty of protein (meat, eggs and milk), calcium (milk) and zinc (red meat, oysters, mussels and nuts) will help your potential growth and a deficiency can stunt it.
Under eating can also stunt your growth.
