Im 14 years old and right now im boxing, everyday besides the weekends i go to the boxing gym, and i was just wondering, with the help of multivitamins and growth stretches, can i grow taller than 5’5, and yes my father is 5’6, but my uncle is taller than him by 3 to 4 inches and my grandfather, their father, was like near 5’10-5’11, so do i have a chance to grow?? Regardless of how tall your relatives are, it is most likely that you will grow to your fathers height. A proper diet with plenty of vitamin C and calcium is the key to achieving your maximum height, which looks to be around 5’7/5’8.
Your Short. 5 Foot 5 By mro is 14 and hes 5 foot 11 hes probably 6 feet by now. and you stop growing at 16 So you might grow a few more inches but i dought it youll probablyake it to 5 foot 6 or 2 foot 7 as your final height but its unlikeley. so your not going to be very tall
It’s all genetics. No matter what you do, that’s what it boils down to.
But taking up boxing is a great way to get fit and stay fit!
Your height is usually pre-determined, but you can boost it with healthy eating. . . sports are good. Boxing is okay, but not the best sport if you want to avoid brain damage. What good is it to be tall, dark, handsome and stupid?
How to determine your height:
***Does your mom have the measurement of your height when you were 2 years old? If so…take that height and double it… (see below from website: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/311237/how_to_predict_your_childs_future_height.html)
There are other formulas that can also be used. To estimate a male child’s height, take his height at the age of two and double it. To estimate a female child’s height, take her height at the age of 18 months and double it.
Another formula to try is adding a mother and father’s height together and dividing that number by two. An example of this is as follows. If a mother’s height is 5 foot, 3 inches, take that 63 and add it to the father’s height. For the purpose of this, say the father’s height is 6 foot, 2 inches, or 74 inches. Now, add these two numbers together and you get 137 inches. Divide the number by two, which ends up being 68 ½ inches. This number converted back to feet and inches is 5 feet, 8 ½ inches tall. With this formula, you add two inches to your final number for a male and for a female, subtract 2 ½ inches. Therefore, if you have a male child in this instance, that child will be approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall at full growth.
