Can eating the proper foods, getting enough sleep, and doing certain exercises help you grow taller?
For eating properly, I mean eating foods with the nutrients necessary for growth, for sleeping I mean sleeping around 8-10 hours, and for exercising I just want to know if doing exercises like jogging and jump roping can help. I would also like to know if eating yogurt or six meals a day could help you grow taller or at least help you lose weight. Please don’t post any obvious information about growth, myths, or any biased or ignorant answers, such as "genetics is everything".

no i don’t think it will, well depending on your age it might.
but i do know if you will be a healthier person which will prevent
alot of diseases that you can get from not being healthy.
which results in a longer and happier life.
so unless your still at a young growing age, i don’t
think you will be growing much anymore.
but i’m not 100% sure about it.
Doubt it, it is mostly genetics.
People have the belief that you grow taller if you eat more because of those that are undernourished and when they start eating, they grow more. You sound like you do have food 24/7, so eating more won’t make you grow any taller because you have reached your potential, so to say.
Either way, girls stop growing at 18, and guys at 21. Around 3 years before that they will grow 5 cm in one year. So if you are younger than that, do not worry, you still have an easy 5cm more to go.
But sleeping and exercising can do no harm. So go for it. =)
Besides, you might not be tall, but you’ll have a great body if you sleep and exercise.
eating good foods sleeping well and exercising correctly can help but your genetics are going to affect you if no one if really tall in your family it most likely wont help. But if you want to lose weight then yes all that will help you (but it depends on many things with your height) and if you want tone and workout everyday and eat sixmeals then you would become toned
If you want to be taller just set that goal. Don’t think bad thoughts that you will forever be short just set your head into believing you’ll grow, believe me it works. The mind has not limit when used properly. Don’t try those things that stretch you out, they just pop your joints, and don’t try steroids they won’t work. l’ m 24 and i am 6’0 , my father 5’7 and mum 5’4. l was the same height as my father 8 months ago and l was always told that l would not grow over 5’7 , the height can’t be controlled , height was determined by your genetic ,inheritance etc. i was really fed up with these narrow- minded people around me and l hit the road for a solution. l have researched books , doctors and internet high and low for increasing height, and tried many growth boosters. From my experience what worked on me :
1. Eat lots of Broccoli.
2. Eat at least 250gr yougurt every day.
3. Regular Swimming helps.
4. Sleep without pillows, and sleep at least 8 hrs daily.
5. Super-Growth works http://www.growtallersupplements.net or http://www.super-growth.org
6. Use an inversion table for 20- 30 minutes every day.
Follow the tips above and you’ll grow a few inches taller regardless of your age.
Weight-bearing exercise and impact loading stimulate bone growth. Generally, three 20 to 30 minute sessions a week are sufficient. If you can and want to do more, go for it! Activities such as walking, running, aerobics or climbing stairs are also excellent forms of exercise to aid in bone growth.
You should incorporate calcium rich foods into your diet as much as possible. Dairy products and calcium-fortified foods as mentioned earlier are great choices. Try to get between 1,000 and 1,500 milligrams a day.
Do not shy away from dairy products because of the fat content. We now can purchase just about any dairy product available in a low/non-fat version. Milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese all come in low-fat or non-fat varieties.
Consider vitamin K. This vitamin switches on a bone-building protein called osteocalcin. Experts say 100 micrograms (mcg) a day may be best for bones. Food sources include spinach, Brussels sprouts, roccoli, asparagus, cabbage, coleslaw and collard greens.
Stop smoking. Smoking increases your risk because it accelerates the metabolism of estrogen, making less available to stimulate bone growth.
Eat cereals fortified with vitamin D. For your body to absorb and deposit the calcium you get from food, you need vitamin D.
The supplement option. There is always the supplement choice! http://www.sato-growth.com and http://www.bestsato.com l have tried this and it works. ( for adults l suggest 8 month or pro versions)
Set a time to take that supplement! Plan to take your product at a specific time each day to make taking it a habit.
try HeightXL it worked for me http://www.heightxl.com
