im 17, i have played football since i was 7. so i have 10 years of football experience, i have played for the top clubs in my county and played for my yorkshire district team. i got trials for leeds when i was 10. When i got too 13 i became a bit overweight and everyone grew tall and i was still short. but when i was 15 i started working out and running a lot.
im now 6ft 170lbs and have a very strong build.
i currently dont play for a team. any tips on how i can get trials or become a pro ?
i know im good enough, i have it naturally. lots of expro footballers have told me i have it.

Ok so Im only 13 years old 5 foot 8 1/2 and 160 pounds. Im just naturally tall, i was tall when i was in like every grade. I already developed hair (like pit hair and stuff.) My friends always told me im gunna stop growing soon. My mom is 5’4 and my dad is 5’10. Can anyone tell me from 13 years old to when they think ill stop growing. for example (13- 18 etc.)
Should i be scared about this? What age will i actually get bigger and more muscular?
And does every stage of a males puberty involve them growing.

Well, I’m a girl. I’m in 8th grade, got my period in 5th. My doctor told me I probably would never grow. BOY was she wrong! I’m so happy I’m growing! Just a few weeks ago, my feet got bigger by a full shoe size. Then I grew a bit taller, and I still am. I drink a lot of milk every day now, and am trying my best to eat healthier. My school makes me exercise super hard and I love just running/playing sports or whatnot everyday anyway! I also love stretching, so I also do that too. I’m really getting good sleep in now also. I sleep at 8 and wake up at about 5:30 naturally. So 9 and a half hours of sleep. You think there’s any more (haha, as if I don’t have enough!) ways to increase my potential? When my mom was younger, she had a size 8. She’s 5’5". My feet are almost size 9 and a half now. So maybe that means I’ll grow taller than her? I mean, my older brother grew taller than my dad. My older sister, I think, maybe neglected what she did/does since she’s 18 and only 5’2" and a half, and I’m just growing haha. For my race my family is pretty tall. Sooo.. you think there would be any more I can do or am I doing just fine? Thanks!

I know genetics play a big part in height, and so does exercise and eating a balanced diet. What foods exactly should I eat daily and what exercises should I do? And what other important things are there when it comes to growing taller?
from 1st to 3rd grade i was a little under average height. also i was a little chunky. through those grades i grew normally. but once third grade was over, that summer i grew about 6 inches. in 4th grade i was about 5 6. at the end of the grade i was 5 8.then in 5th grade i probably grew a half inch or so. but in the middle of 6th grade i was 6ft tall and weighed 200lbs. i had started basketball and wrestling that year. i wasnt fat at all. was in great shape. i have never been one of those tall lanky kids.in 7th grade i was 6 1 and 6 2 weighing about 215lbs. 8th grade i was about 6 3, 220 lbs. now i am a freshman and im 6 5 and weigh 240lbs. im a little chunky. my shoe size is 16 mens. ( kevin garnett has a size 15 and he is about 6 11-7ft ) my dad is 6 1. my mom is 5 10.5. my dad is the tallest on his side. and he tallest on my moms side is 6 4. i am taller than that and im barely 15. i have never really worked out. always been naturally strong. also i eat better than most kids.

I am 17, and 5’4. So naturally i would like to be taller. I have heard about growth hormones, and i was just wondering i could just ask my doctor about taking some, and if he would say yes.??

When I was younger, at High School etc, I was constantly bullied for being the ‘fat kid’. It was due to me having a deficiency in growth hormone. After hormonal injections til I was 18, I was still a little chubby but a bit taller. Now, at 23, I weigh about 56-57 kilos and I’m maybe, 5’7" – perhaps a little bit taller. But I’ve grown obsessed with my weight. I weigh myself every morning to see if there’s been any fluctuation and if I go over 9 stones, I’ll eat less until I’m under again. I have pretty skinny arms and legs, and a little bit of pudge left on my tummy; these are all things I monitor remembering how I got bullied before. And when I look around, there are always these naturally perfectly-shaped lads, and I end up weighing myself again.
My GP says weighing myself so constantly is just my obsessive-compulsive thing.. Im not so sure. Does anyone have any advice to give? Thanks in advance.
Is it that people who are naturally tall join basketball because it is advantageous to be tall in that sport, and so they know they could be successful?
Or, do you think that people who join basketball, regardless of their initial height, grow tall because of all the jumping and their minds recognize that it would be advantageous to be taller and so their bodies grow?
The MAJORITY of NBA players are taller than average.
PGs are still usually 6 feet+.

Last time I measured my height I was 5’3 but I am only 12 so I haven’t even stopped growing yet so I have a feeling that I will be a lot taller when I’m around 16-18. I am naturally skinny so I can’t put on weight. I’ve got bright brown eyes, dark brown hair (almost looks black), an okay nose, and full lips (No i mean really big. I don’t know where I got them from because I’m only have asian, half white) Um…I don’t know if I’m pretty enough to be a model. Oh and btw, just in case you thought I was 12 and got a my lips injected to make them look bigger or something, i didn’t they are naturally big but I’m not sure if I like them. I just wanna be a model when I’m older. Do you think I’ll be tall enough to be one when I’m around 16-18? Advice pelase, and tell me what you think!!

My thighs rub together, my properly sized jeans give me muffin tops and I have tons of cellulite. I really would like to loose 10 or 15 pounds, it sounds like a simple feat but is difficult when you have such a small frame. For example, to just maintain my current weight, I’d have to eat 1200 calories a day. I find that I eat great all day, (Breakfast – oatmeal and fruit, Lunch- Salad, Snack – Apple or Banana, Dinner- Fish and vegetables, and then I will binge at night. However the solution isn’t to eat more throughout the day, because I will always end up binging around the same amount, no matter how hungry I am. The thing is, my ‘binge" doesn’t consist of pints of icecream or unhealthy "trigger" foods. Its more like I start eating and cant stop… Ill have a little bit of everything in my kitchen (peanut butter, fruits, crackers, cereal, chicken, milk, bread, cheese, leftover meals) and the calories really add up. My bingeing is getting worse and even though im THINKING more about weight loss I’m gaining more weight. I grew up really naturally thin and had a good sense of my hunger, never really even thought about food, but now my eating is out of control and I don’t know what to do.. I used to run in the mornings but I lost the motivation for that. Now my exercise consists of walking, ballet classes and occasional gym visits. I work a lot for a teenager, 10-6 shifts (during summer) on my feet all day, so I find when I get home I want to hang out with freinds and not go workout. I’m so frusterated with my body and hate how I look every day, yet ALSO hate how I rebel against myself with my constant snacking/binging. I’m just tired of obsessing over this all the time.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can lose the weight and stop my troubled eating?

I’m just 4’6 and I’m 12 years old, and it didn’t bug me before until i hit Middle School and then i have all these neanderthals making fun of my height, that and getting taller would help me build up my confidence. My goal is to atleast reach 5’0 and that means I just need 6 more inches. So is there any ways that could help me grow taller naturally, and if not any other ways that could help me grow taller but not cost me a FORTUNE. Please help, and thanks if you atleast try to help

Why are fans and the media so obsessed with digging up corpses? All of the aforementioned players are great in their own rights. Jordan grew up watching Dr. J, so naturally, he influenced his game. All those other guys grew up watching Jordan. Gatorade played the Like Mike commercials so much that is was like a subliminal message. Sure Kobe pumps his fist like MJ. Yes Lebron wears 23. Of course Wade has mastered the trick shot. Jordan was who they modeled their games after. Nothing wrong with that, but it doesn’t mean they have to be the Next Jordan. Each of them bring something to the table that Jordan didn’t have. So, why can’t they be the first them instead of the next someone else?
It’s cool to compare new greats to old greats, but when you throw the Next in there, it takes away from the accomplishments of the new guys. Kobe has 3 titles and is arguably the best player in the league, but it is overlooked b/c he hasn’t done what Jordan has done. Dirk is a 7 footer with guard-like skills, but it doesn’t matter b/c he hasn’t done what Bird did. Lebron is a freakish combination of athleticism, power and court vision, but he doesn’t do this like Magic or that like Jordan. People are so hung up on the past that they are missing the present. Jordan is dead people. Magic is dead people. Bird is dead people. Enjoy Kobe, Lebron, Wade, Iverson, KG, Duncan & Dirk. Leave the corpses in their respective front offices.

Hey, I’m 19, 6 feet tall and I weigh about 135 lbs. I’ve been working out since junior year in high school but then I stopped and started again early this year. I work out about 4 days a week (45 min – 1 hour each day)and I do different muscle groups each time I go. triceps/biceps, chest/calves, back/shoulders. I’ve never really worked out my abs or my legs other than calves since I’m pretty skinny and I never really thought about it too much. I want to gain about 15-20 pounds in, hopefully, 6 months. I have a good physique but I want to grow and become bigger. Is 15-20 pounds too much to try to gain? Any help with food to eat, a certain workout or any tips at all would be greatly appreciated. I would really be happy with a workout routine!

If you put ankle weights on and kick the air with them. And then you like rest your legs and let them hang. I just read an article that that can add inches to your legs. I want ot know if that works for real or not. Because I’m considering buying ankle weights and I don’t want to waste my money. Here was the article that i read.

My hands are small but I’m taller then people who are really short and have way bigger hands then me. I’m pretty sure I’m not going to have small hands forever (maybe because I am not fully developed yet). My boobs aren’t even big (maybe because I am naturally underweight and don’t eat much?). I am 15 and got my periods last year only. My mom is shorter then me but I am a head taller then her and she has bigger hands then me.
I am 5’4" my dad is 5’11" my cousins and everybody are 6’3" but they eat heaps and the are really athletic and one of my cousins just came back from the US army troop and he increased his height by 2 inches!!! So will exercise help me grow taller?

hey guys i have a question. so i put out a message 2 days ago about trying to concieve twins. my thing is that i can conceive because i already have a 2 year old. i was recently pregnant but i lost it because the baby wasn’t growing and if i was to contiue with the pregnancy the baby would have been born still born.so i wanted to use fertility drugs to hope for twins. Oncer i researched it i found out my insurance covered it both meds and treatment. but once i read about all the risk with taking fertility drugs i kinda changes my mind. now here the hard part so follow along. my mon has 24 sets of twins in her family and 2 sets of triplets naturally conceived. my dad side has 17 sets of twins. both my mom and dad were twins but both died at birth due to poor prenatal care. so i read online that you can try to conceive twins naturally. and i fit the profile. i’m african american, twins run in my family,and i tall. so all i have to do is take folic acid and eat yams gain a little weight. my boyfriend agreed that he wanted twins as well. I really love kids. even though i’m 21 i want to have the all while im young. don’t worry im in my last year of nursing school so i’ll be able to afford them. i want to try in either january of march .Has anyone ever heard of or know anyone who convieved twins natrually or do you guys have any tips of your own???

Im very short girl according to other people who are the same age as me. Im in 9th grade and im 14 years old. Im 4’8. I come from a very short parents. My mom is around 5’0, and my dad is around 5’3. I really wanna grow tall. A lot of people recommended for me to go see endocrinologist including my health teacher. I’ve known a guy who grew taller by seeing endocrinologist. Would that be a good option? What do that do that makes you grow taller?
Please dont say that i will naturally grow taller or i shouldnt worry about my height.
