Do Elevator shoes work?
I am interested in adding an inch or two to my height and came across several sites for elevator shoes. The best looking ones I found are TOTTII brand on itallershoes.com.
Has anyone ever tried these or seen them? I am hesitant to buy them unless I can determine that they don’t look/feel weird or are too noticeable.
Please don’t respond with comments about insecurity or being happy with my height. I am 5’11 and would like to be around 6’0-6’1. (I realize the 2.8-3.2 inch gain is a bit of a marketing ploy as regular shoes give you about an inch to inch and a half gain)

I’m sure they work great. There is no doubt these shoes will put inches on your height, but it looks to me like the shoes are angled significantly to do so. On the website they even deliberately shot the shoes from an angle that minimizes the appearance of that angle.
I dont know man.
I have a brother who used to wear these and never seemed to have a problem with them, and they pretty much looked like normal shoes. You can tell a little bit if you examine them at eye level, but because most of those shoes are dress shoes which come with a bit of a defined heel you’ll probably be fine.
As for fit, I never recommend purchasing shoes online when the customer is not familiar with the brand of shoe, there are too many variables to be considered.
Will the toe box be big enough, how will it feel against your arch, will it accommodate your instep?
I would suggest trying to try on similar shoes if your dead set on buying them offline.
