Do marijuana plants grow in compact soil?
hey i have a slow growing marijuana seedling ( it is winter though and im growing it naturally ), the dirt is quite compacted because i pushed it down a bit before i planted the plant in it, so it isnt loose dirt. is it bad if the dirt is to compact? can it cause it to grow slowly? and also this seedling is very short but had 2 leaves and 2 more smaller ones coming up now, and id about just over an inch tall. thanks ![]()

Since it is illegal to grow them, I have no idea what soil they grow best in.
They need airy soil otherwse they will not grow well and eventually die.
Try starting a journal at a growing website like icmag or grasscity and the people there will help you out also you can read some guides like this one http://www.weedfarmer.com/cannabis/beginner_guide.php to help you get a good grasp of everything your plant needs.
While plants don’t like compacted soil, I can’t say that you compacted the soil too much by hand. If this is a flower pot, it’s unlikely that you compacted it too much.
Think of leaves as the factories of plants. As more and more of these factories are formed, the growth rate increases. Growth is slowest when a seedling is young.
