No, you will continue to grow for a few more years. Eat a balanced diet. Exercise regularly. Sleep well.
an average teenage girl normally stops growing at the age of 17 so i think youll have plenty of time to mature from then on .
You do not stop growing after you get your period. Women continue to grow (although at a slower rate) until around 18.
If you are 13 now and 5’5" it is unlikely that you will hit 5’8" especially since you already had a pretty good growth spurt. Look at your family, are they very tall? 5’5" is actually an average height for women.
There is no way to make yourself taller short of very painful surgery that is not done very often and almost never without good reason. Be happy with yourself. You are the way you are – why change it?
You do not stop growing after you get your period. I have gotten my period since i was 11 now im 19 no longer getting them due to pregnancy but i kept growing still am i was at 5’2 like a year ago now i am 5’4 1/2. And nothing will help you grow taller.
Nope, I’m betting you have a long ways to go yet! Most girls get their periods around 12 or 13, and in my experience those girls still have a lot of growing to do. As for getting taller naturally…I’d say that’s mostly a myth that you can do that, it’s almost 100 percent going to be determined by genetics. Oh and one more thing…I’m 19, 5’4" and I’m perfectly content! Did you know you are at about the average height for a woman? So unless you want to be a model I wouldn’t worry too much
no honey, when you get your period you don’t stop growing. when i got my first period in that year i grew about 3 inches. you cant specify your height no matter what you do.
whoever "everyone" is, don’t listen. you’re in grade 8? ever notice how people in high school are bigger? thats because you don’t stop growing when you get your period.
stop listening to what "everyone" says, it’ll get you in alot of trouble (especially when "everyone" starts doing it-they’re really not- and even if they were, its cooler to be the one girl who has a story they’re NOT asamed of)
you seem like a nice, but impressionable girl- I’ll give you some advice I wish I had got when I was your age:
whats right isn’t allways popular and whats popular isn’t allways right- be true to who you are.
