does anyone know any natural ways to grow taller?
hi everyone. right now im 5/9 and i want to grow to be at least 6/2. so far i keep up a jump rope routine and i drink at least 2 glasses of milk. If you want to throw genetics, both my parents are short BUT my grandpa on my mom’s side is a giant (think hes like 6ft3in) and my aunt is pretty tall herself and so im taller than my parents. yeah…lol any tips anyone?

You cannot change your genetic makeup. That was determined when your mom’s egg met up with your dad’s sperm. You didn’t get the 6’3" gene from your ancestors, you got the 5’9" gene. You didn’t say what your age is, but if you’re over 20 or so, you are probably finished growing as far as height goes. You’re bones have an area (called the epiphyseal plate) that grows the length of the bone until the early 20′s, at which time it ceases to grow. Bone growth continues in healthy bones only to repair injury and replace natural degeneration. What you are doing now is great! It’s keeping your bones healthy. We start losing bone mass early in life, earlier for women than for men. With impact exercise and healthy, calcium-rich diets, this bone loss can be slowed to prevent osteoporosis which results in fractures later in life. Check out the link below for more information.
The only way to maximize your genetic height is to have good amounts of both protein and fat. That is why Japanese-Americans are so much taller than their Japan relatives. Other than that, it’s in the genes.
interesing… if i were younger, and you found an answer.. i’d have asked you for it.
No; you cannot will yourself to be taller
NO
I think your height depends on your genes, but eating more protein helps too. But drinking milk might not be the answer, I recently watched this TV program that said drinking milk isn’t good, try drinking soy milk instead.
