has anyone had leg lengthening done at the bonamed clinic in kieve, ukraine?
they use an internal method that leaves very little scaring. i got approved to have lengthening done in the us and have it covered by insurance, but they currently only use an external fixator at the clinic that my insurance approve. the external fixator leaves huge scares and runs the risk of pin sight infections.
please let me know if you’ve had any experience with the bonamed clinic!

No experience with this particular clinic, but I would tell you that I would never give up a US clinic for a Ukrainian one. That said, and having discussed this with my wife…
The technique they use was developed in Moscow, and basically entails breaking your leg, pulling the two sections apart slightly, injecting some drugs to promote bone growth, and letting the bones heal together causing a "natural" lengthening.
