How can I get taller naturally so I can model?
I am a 17 year old female and am 5’1. I have people tell me that if I were taller, I could be a model. I would like to be a lingerie model, but I don’t have the height. What can I do? How can I get taller, naturally? I remember the doctor telling me when I was about 11 that I would probably end up being an average of my parents’ height which would be like 5’5. I don’t think I’ve grown since I was 12. Help!

I stopped growing at sixteen. Most women stop growing in their late teens. You may gain another inch or so, but for the most part, you’re probably about the height you’ll always be.
Not all models are super-tall. Yeah, models who do high-fashion runway are generally at least 5’7” or 5’8”, but you can do catalogues, print ads, and local modeling if you’re shorter. The trick is to present yourself well, and never give up! You can look taller with heels and a good presentation.
To get started, you can probably find local photographers looking to expand their portfolios– they most likely won’t care how tall you are, and will be willing to give you prints for YOUR portfolio cheap or free. Hope this helps!
Sorry at 17 you have probably reached your final height.
How you carry yourself however can give you more of an "air" of height. Not all models are tall.
You cannot make yourself be taller. Try being a petite model.
