I have a daughter in the same situation, she’s 13,& just made it to the 5 ft mark, they say if you drink water before you go to bed it helps pad the bones,I’m not sure how effective that is,I know your bones need good nutrition to grow, lots of calcium, vitiman D,they have vitimans with glucosamine, conjoytin,& msm, these all help build your cartilidge, there are also some herbal remedies that are supposed to help, you should ask your mom or dad to ask a doctor,or go to a health food store to find out what is best,& the right amounts of what to take, taking too many vitamins can be just as bad as not enough,…look up grow max online also, probably a little expensive, but worth looking into..,being 5 feet isn’t all that bad, good things can come in little packages ;0)
I stopped grwing in fifth grade. I am five foot maybe one. I weigh 106-110. I can’t see the top of the fridge so I had my cupboard built around it. I can’t wash the top of my Ford SUV so I take it to the car wash. I take my pants to the cleaners to have them shortened and I often shop in the kids department at Macy’s. I grew up on home grown vegetables, home-cooked meals, plenty of fruit, whole grains, and some treats. I never grew an inch after fifth grade. Welcome to my world.
You still have a chance….but not much control.
drink a lot of milk and excercise regularly. also sleeping well can help :]
i wish i was 13 again and do all the things that i’ve mentioned above yet i didn’t do..and now i’m stuck at 5’1 at the age of 19..lol..
You could cheat like my older sister did with her daughter. She’s giving her growth hormones. Your question reminded me of that.
good nutrition is the only thing you can do
