How can I grow taller naturally?
I am male, I turned 18 a few weeks ago, and I am about 5′4-5′5. My father I would estimate is a couple inches taller than me, and his father is about the same height as me.
Is there a chance I will keep growing until I’m about 20 or so, and maybe reach a more acceptable height of 5′6 or 5′7?
Or what ways are there to increase height naturally. I don’t really want to spend money on stupid scams selling watered down chemicals on the internet. Are there any certain exercises or procedures I should perform daily to improve my height?
I recently turned vegetarian, so my diet is much healthier than ever before, I eat stacks of veges every day, one fruit a day, and always drinking water. I don’t know how my health could be responsible…

rumor has it that stretching your legs while satisfying yourself will make you grow taller.
were high heels the ones with the 5 inch heels
I asked the same question. Except I’m a girl, 5′7 and I want to be taller.
The answers didn’t help. There’s not much you can do about it.
EXERCISE UR SPINE U CAN GET AN INCH FROM STRAIGHTENING IT
You can grow naturally till a specific age. But still you can grow to any extent till any age. Visit http://www.your-growth.com
you may grow more or you may not all depends on your body and when your brain says your an adult now
If you are still within the growing age then perhaps you can add a few inches by eating a balanced diet and leading an active life. A nutritious diet that includes fruits and vegetables, dairy, cereals, meat, and plenty of water will aid the natural process for enhancing height. A good and proper night’s sleep is also essential for the growth process. Taking part in active sports along with some stretching exercises can have a cumulative effect on human growth. There is not much we can do to grow taller after puberty. There are many products in the market today that claim to increase height of adults, but they are all scams without sufficient scientific evidence. Surgical options, though available, are EXTREMELY RISKY and of course expensive. This leaves us with basically two options.
1.Stretching Exercises: – These exercises will help you improve your posture. You’ll be surprised that how much of “Height” is hidden behind your slouched back. You can, at any age, add an inch or two of height by simply improving your posture. Follow the link below for information on specific height enhancing exercises:

2.Second, you can create a “Taller” effect by following some smart fashion techniques. You can easily add another inch or two of “illusionary height” by improving your dress coordination. The link below can provide some input on height increase through fashion effect:

Good luck
Yes, there is a very good chance, being male, that you will continue to grow until you are 20 or even later.
Having a doctor check your growth plates would be able to tell you if you still have the potential for long bone growth.
At 18 you don’t have a lot of years left to work with if any, so these years could be your most important. It’s very important that your testosterone levels are at their peak (and estrogen at its lowest possible) to speed up your growth while preventing growth plate closure as best you can.
Being on a vegetarian diet is a very very bad idea when it comes to this. You require the quality meat proteins, cholesterol and saturated fats to maintain high testosterone level. Testosterone is a hormone highly correlated and responsible for height.
Also, a lot of vegetables are high in phyto-estrogens, such as soy (common in vegetarian products). This has an estrogen like effect and speeds up growth plate fusion. Estrogen levels are the reason why girls finish growing much earlier that boys.
So I suggest you add some red meat to your diet and try to avoid soy products.
I don’t suggest you buy supplements off the net as they are a waste of money. But maybe try some casein protein, as the IGF may have an effect. You can also try some HGH secretagogues and/or Aromatase inhibitors.
If your really serious, you may also want to try preforming exercise that induces a lot of lactic acid build up. High intensity Long duration exercise such as 400m sprints, 50 squat jumps ect. This will raise HGH levels. But unless you made that a constent daily thing It wouldn’t achieve much.
But again, if your growth plates have already fused, all the above would be pointless.
If they are fused, you would be looking at shoe lifts, surgery or simply improving your posture.
Iam a male 5′8" and im 15 years old. When i was about 12 years old i was only about 5′1" so i grew a bit. Most doctors say that males continue to grow until they are 21 years of age. So it may just be that you are a late grower. you could even reach a height of 5′9"
