How can I grow taller naturally (like without drugs or medication)?
I’m 16 and 5’4 and I HATE being short. Scientifically, I am supposed to be 5’8 by the time i stop growing, but i want to reach for 5’10. I bike a lot during the fall, spring, and summer and i play lacrosse in the winter and fall. i eat healthy. Also, even though i am really healthy and less than the average weight for my age, i think i look kinda chubby because i’m so short. anyway, is there a way to become taller naturally. i don’t want to take drugs or medicine of any kind. Are there stretches i could do or foods i could eat that can help me. links please! I am willing to do almost anything!
Oh, and try to keep the answers short but thorough. i don’t want to read an essay

There is no height you are "scientifically" "supposed" to reach. I don’t know what formula you’re using, but if you’re just averaging your parents’ heights, that is not accurate. Many factors affect height.
Males can continue to grow into their early 20s, you may just be a late bloomer. Not to get personal, but this is more likely true if you are also going thru the rest of puberty slowly.
Children can be taller than both parents partly due to better nutrition, but there’s no one specific food or exercise that will make you grow. Do make sure you get enough calcium and protein.
As far as looking better, get a girl to shop with you and/or Google "flattering clothes for short men." The right clothes can make you look taller and slimmer.
BTW the average American woman is 5’4 so you are already at least not shorter than most women. At 5’8 there will be plenty of girls who can date you and still wear heels
stay active drink milk and orange juice eat yogurt and stuff with a lot of calcium and protein. But mostly drink milk because it enhances bone growth.
Perhaps you can find some useful tips in a web search for "foods to grow taller".
The only things that stunt growth in our lifestyles can all be directed to just common sense if you have a lousy nutrition everyday, if you lack the proper/essential/beneficial foods to eat daily, it won’t necessarily stop you from growing, but it doesn’t exactly increase the chances, either. Also, lack of flexibility has shown to hinder more growth, as the muscle tissues around your growing bones may or may not be the most potentially stretched. Just in general, nothing really stunts growth, but simple things such as getting at least 6-8 hours of sleep (hormones levels are released during sleeptime, producing growth; also, to rebuild muscle and give energy), staying physically fit (cardio, aerobic/anaerobic variations), and simply staying active thoroughout the day is all a pathway to growth. If you really want to grow taller even after puberty then check this out http://www.howtogrowtallernaturally.com or http://www.growtallersupplements.net I heard about it on a health forum strangely enough. I tried it not expecting much since l am 27….and I have been using it for 3 Months and,l see 2 inches difference in my height already. it has worked really well for me. Some companys are now making already mixed versions, it works though there isn’t much for scientific evidence supporting the manufacturer’s claim, but it works, also my friend tried it and it really worked out well for her too.
