How Can I Grow Taller Over The Summer?
I’m a boy and I’m 14. My mum is 5’0 and my dad is 5’4, I am already 5’4 and I hope to be another 3 – 4 inches taller, so how can I grow over the summer holidays? Will swimming everyday help me be at least 2 inches taller by September? What else will I need to do?

Wow I answer these height questions alot!
Unfortunately genetics decide your height and sometimes their not kind. There is absolutely nothing that can make you grow taller… except time. You grow until about 23 so stop worring… you’re only a kid! So the only thing you need to focus on, is your health. Eat plenty of vitamins and drink milk to ensure your bones are growing properly and healthy. Other than that, there is nothing that can make people taller.
The reason people get shorter through age is because the disks in their back deteriorate, therefore the only way to get taller is to make the disks in your back larger, which is impossible. Just make sure you consume a lot of vitamins, and don’t do anything that can injure your back!
If you want to be taller just set that goal. Don’t think bad thoughts that you will forever be short just set your head into believing you’ll grow, believe me it works. The mind has not limit when used properly. Don’t try those things that stretch you out, they just pop your joints, and don’t try steroids they won’t work. l’ m 24 and i am 6’0 , my father 5’7 and mum 5’4. l was the same height as my father 8 months ago and l was always told that l would not grow over 5’7 , the height can’t be controlled , height was determined by your genetic ,inheritance etc. i was really fed up with these narrow- minded people around me and l hit the road for a solution. l have researched books , doctors and internet high and low for increasing height, and tried many growth boosters. From my experience what worked on me :
1. Eat lots of Broccoli.
2. Eat at least 250gr yougurt every day.
3. Regular Swimming helps.
4. Sleep without pillows, and sleep at least 8 hrs daily.

6. Use an inversion table for 20- 30 minutes every day.
Follow the tips above and you’ll grow a few inches taller regardless of your age.
You actually can grow some more through exercising / stretching. But, there is more to it than just that. You have to use a specific dieting plan. Combining both of these and you can grow 3-4 in 3 months. Don’t expect more than that though. Those are average results. Doing swimming is an excellent start to helping you grow taller, especially by doing the breast stroke. Not only does it take pressure off of your spine, but you are kicking one way while stretching your arms the other way. This is a good exercise to get you taller!
But there are other factors to consider such as nutrition, supplements, sleep, and more. And actually, there are whole programs dedicated to just this. I should know, I bought one! There are also stretches that you can do that will help you with growth.Here are some stretches that I found to be my favorite ones for growth. There are many more, but these will get you started.
The Leg Stretch- Sit down on the floor with your legs spread as far apart as is comfortable. With one hand, reach for your toes on the same side of your body. Now with your other hand, reach for your other foot. If you can’t reach your feet comfortably, do as far down your leg as possible. The most important thing is to keep your spine straight and pivot from the hips, without arching your spine.
The Bow Down- This one is exactly how it sounds. Stand upright with your hands on your hips. Keep them here throughout the exercise. Leading with your head, bend forward as far as possible. Keep your chin off of your chest and try not to bend your knees.
The Yawn- Another simple but effective stretch. Think of your stretch when you get out of bed in the morning. Stand with your hands held together behind your neck, then look upward and back as far as possible.
These are super stretches, but like I mentioned before you’ll need other things for a comprehensive growth program. If you would really like to learn how to make yourself taller, I suggest you use the program I used. It gets into the proper way to sleep, supplementation, stretches, exercise, and diet. Basically everything you need to know. It worked for me!

if you’re only 14 you’ve still got plenty of time to grow.
I’ve got 5 very useful tips:
1. Sleep before 10PM (your growth hormone is released the most from 10pm-2am)
2. Take calcium supplement before sleep
3. Stretch twice a day – when you wake up & before you sleep
4. Go swimming daily
5. Eat healthily (lots of greens and frequent meals)
