3. Exhaling – blow out air from your body through the mouth 12 seconds
It is during deep sleep that growth hormone does its job of thickening and lengthening your bones. So appropriate sleeping time (not the longer, the better) and correct sleeping posture is very important for your body to grow. Sleep is defined as a natural periodic state of rest for the mind and body, in which the eyes usually close and consciousness is completely or partially lost, so that there is a decrease in bodily movement and responsiveness to external stimuli.
During deep sleep, growth hormone produced by your pituitary gland is released into your blood stream and travel through your body and causes the thickening and lengthening of your bones. Therefore, you should achieve "deep level" sleep on a daily basis in order to coordinate your affords of exercises and proper diet. The following are some helpful tips on how to easily achieve deep level sleep.
Sleep in a comfortable and firm mattress.
Sleep in a room that is dark, quiet and fresh smelling.
Sleep with clean, soft, and comfortable clothes.
Keep your hands and feet warm. Scientific studies have shown that warm hands and feet will help induce REM (rapid eye movement) deep sleep. Cold hands and feet will keep you from deep sleep.
Drink a big glass of water before going to bed and when you wake up; this will help clean out your system.
Practice total relaxation and deep breathing for a few minutes before you go to bed.
Relax from head to toe. Close your eyes and relax every part of your body.
Maintain a habit of sleeping at the same time everyday, including weekends.
Sleep on your back with a flat pillow under your knees. This will align your spine properly and prevent any back aches caused by sleeping in a bent position.

The safest and most natural way is to just let mother nature run her course. It’s genetics also, you can’t really force yourself to grow any taller than your genes will allow. Anyways, go gain weight in general…eat much more. In a healthy fashion, workout and diet properly. Good luck! = )
your not short for your age.
average grown female height in america is 5’3".
its possible youll still grow at your age. if your seriously concerned about your height look into hgh injections and stretching exercises.
as for gaining weight EAT! eat 3 large meals a day. and dont eat through out the day, it will slow your metabolism.
You can’t really make your body grow taller, you stop growing when you stop growing. It depends on genetics. So what if your skinny and short for your age ? just be happy and grateful for what you have. Also, if you want to gain weight don’t pig out, just tone your body and dont flip bc your only 13 and your body still has a lot of changes to go through.
You still have time to grow. But you might not depending on your genetics. See how tall your parents are. If they’re both short then you might not grow much more
The only things that stunt growth in our lifestyles can all be directed to just common sense if you have a lousy nutrition everyday, if you lack the proper/essential/beneficial foods to eat daily, it won’t necessarily stop you from growing, but it doesn’t exactly increase the chances, either. Also, lack of flexibility has shown to hinder more growth, as the muscle tissues around your growing bones may or may not be the most potentially stretched. Just in general, nothing really stunts growth, but simple things such as getting at least 6-8 hours of sleep (hormones levels are released during sleeptime, producing growth; also, to rebuild muscle and give energy), staying physically fit (cardio, aerobic/anaerobic variations), and simply staying active thoroughout the day is all a pathway to growth. There are ebooks sold online that claim to teach you the secrets of growing taller they are scams no ebook can make you grow taller and if you really want to grow taller even after puberty then check this out http://www.super-growth.com or http://www.howtogrowtallernaturally.com I heard about it on a health forum strangely enough.
