nothing you can do to make yourself grow .. it always just seems that some kids grow over the summer its just that you havent seen that person in a couple months so you notice it more when you see them again…. you may grow and just not notice it yourself……… hope this helps
It´s just the luck of timing, and genetics. And sometimes being out in the sun a lot adds to the effect. I knew a guy who grew, like five inches the summer between 11th and 12th grade. He was just an ordinary, average guy one year, and the next year he was a star on the Basketball team.
Just lucky I guess.
The kids growing taller may have just had a growth spurt, which is a part of puberty. In case you don’t know, puberty is when your body matures into adulthood, and to do this plenty of hormones are released throughout your body, causing many changes, one of which is a growth spurt. Some people grow a lot within a short time, and some don’t grow too much at all. It can also happen at different ages, but usually between about 11-17.
If your family is generally taller than you currently are, you will probably have inherited this and will be lucky to grow over summer sometime. Otherwise, you may have pretty much stopped growing so apart from developing a tumor in your pituitary (part of the brain), you’ll just have to work on the other aspects of yourself, like developing muscle tone, keeping fit, enhancing yourself culturally through reading and art, or getting a good haircut.
You might want to look up puberty if you fall in the above age group, as there are plenty of other changes you should know about if you haven’t already been told!
