How does calcium help you grow taller?
Ok so in all the commercials for like got milk and stuff it says that calcium helps kids grow up taller and whatnot. It says that it makes them taller and makes the bones stronger… How exactly does calcium make you taller? I’m 14 and I was wondering if I drank a lot of milk would it make me grow taller? I still have a lot of growing left to do as my growth plates are not closed yet… Thanks to all.
oh and what other foods/drinks do that?

Insufficient calcium can restrict your bone growth and hence your height growth.
Besides dairy products for calcium and protein you also need foods such as red meat for zinc and protein and nuts for zinc to reach your potential height.
Calcium builds bone.
