How tall will I be? What can I do to make myself grow even taller?
Hi, I’m a fifteen (and 4 months) year old male. I am currently 5′9 (175 cm) and 125 lbs but I haven’t had a growth spurt in ages now. I play basketball so I really want to be taller. My dad is 5′10 (177.5 cm) and my mum is 5′5 (165 cm). My mum and dad both have fairly short parents, but how can I determine how tall I will be?
Information that also may help:
My dad is the only person in my family that I am shorter then.
I currently wear a size 11 shoe.

I’m 16 and about 5′9, I have been growing about 2 inches for the last few years on average. Now i am slowing down
My dad is only 5′7 and my mom is only 5′4.My show size is 11 and a half.
To work out your final height double your height from aged 2. yrs 2months.
Another estimate, is add 6 inches tour moms height and take the average of that and your fathers. Some people have excessive genes and some have the opposite. So you could be up to 3 inches taller or shorter than that mark.
Dont lift weights that wil stunt your growth as is effects he epidermis ( or something lyk that) in your lower back that controls your growth. Try get a lot of sleep too.
How far into puberty are you, that can help determine your time left to grow
has your voice broken
do you shave, if so how often
how many growth spurts have you had
Just because your siblings are tall doesnt necerssarily mean you will be.
My grandad is 6′3, his brother 6′4 and his sister 6′2. My mom ( his daughter) was only 5′4, whereas her siser was 5′9!
Hope that helps, try find records of your height as a baby. So once you have found out what your meant to be, you will probably reach most of it by 16/17. and may a grow an inch or two passed that age. Milk only helps wen your pre adolescent and protien is for muscle
best way to reach ur maximmum hieght is sleep, but remember u cannot outgrow your genes
eat magic beans
At this point there isn’t too much you can do that wouldn’t carry some great risks. It it makes it any easier, I grew 3 inches between my 16th and 18th birthday and didn’t stop growing until I was 20.
Be happy to be upright at all. Take stock of who you are, not how tall you are…your stature should be measured in deeds and values not inches.
Most people we admire are not any taller than you. If you don’t believe me think of your heroes (not basketball stars) on line and you will be very surprised.
Ok it is possible, but it needs a lot of hard work. I went to http://increaseheightforum.com/, sign up and ask questions they will help you, make a routine and stick to it for a good year and you will grow taller.
Hey, that’s my story, I was 5′9 too when I was fifteen, I play basketball too, and I really wanted to be much taller. My parents are also as tall as yours. But I was 5′6 when I was 14, so I thought that, stadistically, I was gonna grow 3 inches per year, but sadly (this is gonna be hard, so get ready), now I’m 19 and I’m as tall as my dad. Sorry, I hope that doesn’t happen tou you. I tried eating a lot and playing basketball to grow more, but I didn’t sleep much because of the school, I used to sleep 6 hours when I was 17 and 18. Now I’m trying swimming (they say this woks), drinking 1 liter of milk per day, and sleeping 8 hours every day, so I hope I grow something before I am 21, because they say men don’t stop growing until they’re 21 (although they grow very little).
So, I hope you find a way to be much taller, and when you do, share it to the world my friend.
You are still young and have a lot potential to grow taller. Make sure that you keep a balanced diet and do stretching exercises. Do it ASAP because there is not much we can do to grow taller after puberty. There are many products in the market today that claim to increase height of adults, but they are all scams without sufficient scientific evidence. Surgical options, though available, are EXTREMELY RISKY and of course expensive. This leaves us with basically two options.
1.Stretching Exercises: – These exercises will help you improve your posture. You’ll be surprised that how much of “Height” is hidden behind your slouched back. You can, at any age, add an inch or two of height by simply improving your posture. Follow the link below for information on specific height enhancing exercises:

2.Second, you can create a “Taller” effect by following some smart fashion techniques. You can easily add another inch or two of “illusionary height” by improving your dress coordination. The link below can provide some input on height increase through fashion effect:
