How to grow taller naturally when you are 13 years old female?
Well, I am 13 years old and 5’1. I weigh 92 pounds…how do I get taller? I’ve already gone through puberty and all of that. I’ve been drinking a cold glass of milk every night and going to bed at 9:30-10PM. I went through puberty quite early–the middle of my fifth grade year. I know this is just another stereo type, but I’m asian and they say its harder to become taller when you’re asian? Anyway, I want to grow taller without wearing wedges or high heels…naturally without taking any prescription/medicine/acids or punctures. What do you suggest for someone my age to grow taller? I’m planning on playing more sports during the summer. I’ve never gone out of the house that much–my mom never has the time to take me and my dad isn’t well..in contact anymore. So I have NEVER been to any amusement parks–including Disneyland nor have I played many sports outside of my P.E. class. I’m signing up for badminton and it starts next week, but its only for 20 days. My mom is planning on signing me up on volleyball during the summer, but like I said only for a few weeks. I don’t really exercise…once I eat my belly is pretty full but when I sleep all that belly fat goes away in the morning (mostly). P.E. classes at school help too, since we run twice a week around a really big track. I want to get taller then my mom, who is 5’3 and 42. I want to be at least 5’5-5’7 by the time I get out of highschool. I want to be at least 5’2 or 5’3 in two years. Thanks ![]()

I’m asian, female, 13, & i’m the exact same height as you! I have that problem too. I’ve been so self-conscious about my height. The thing that i’ve heard is to drink milk or eat yogurt everyday & daily vitamins can help too(: Plenty of sleep (at least eight hours) can also encourage height growth. Exercise & stretching can help a ton! I take dance & ballet, etc. Those type of classes can really help since you stretch most of the time. Oh, & eat A LOT just as long as it’s fairly healthy. Haha.
See, i haven’t gone through a growth spurt yet. I don’t know about you. I started puberty in 6th grade, i believe. My parents are short, y’know. My doctor said i’ll grow to be 5’4 & i’m okay with that. I don’t think you should worry. The average height of a woman is 5’4. So i’m satisfied. Try not to worry about it because you aren’t alone(: Besides, i think shorter girls are cuter & there are people older than us who are shorter, & we’re not even done growing yet! <3

I’m an asian guy who’s 14 and im only 5’2, the thing about asians is that our parents our short and its genetic. it kinda sucks. I’m still growing a little, i might reach 5’4 by end of highschool. unfortunately chances for you reaching 5’6 ish are very slim if you’ve already went through puberty. just hope for the best.
