I have a 2 in shoe lift and feel like everyone is looking at it while I walk, is it me or should i get over it
I don’t mind the looks, I do have a slight limp too, it just seems like some days people dont notice the "real" me. I work in PR.

You have probably noticed that people look at the lift – you probably do the same thing to other people when you see something unusual. But just because someone is curious about your condition doesn’t mean their curiosity has anything to do with what they think of you. Think about your own thoughts when you see someone with an unusual physical condition – do you think less of those people when you see them? More likely, your own self-consciousness is getting the best of you. Just keep showing people the real you and go about your work with confidence.
I have a one inch lift and you just have to get over it. If anyone says anything to you or stares and makes you uncomfortable–just ignore them. I wear mine because I have to and I know how you feel. I think it bothers you more than it bothers others.
