I have ALWAYS felt fat, and now I think I have a problem….?
Ok, when I was very young, I developed an unhealthy relationship with food. Meaning I LOVED it, and could never get enough. On top of that I have always been a picky eater, and loved ice cream and fast food. So naturally that caught up with me and I got fat. I didn’t even realize I was. I looked in the mirror and never saw a fat person, just not a thin one. But it showed in all of my pictures, and I became VERY self-conscious. I had always been a very out going person, and then I went through my fat stage, where I cried when I ate food, but I still couldn’t stop. This was all when I was in 5th grade. Thankfully, the summer after, I went on a diet, and lost 20 lbs all by myself! I felt happier, healthier, but I still wasn’t thin…..and my self esteem was shot, and I became very shy around new people.
I went back to eating like a fairly normal person, and as I grew taller I gained that weight with me, but I still am not thin.
And the worst part, is that I was surrounded by people who were skinnier then me. All my friends are tall and naturally thin. (Like a model.) and my brother is always making fun of me. So I played around with diets, eating healthier, and exercising, but I always went back to normal.
Then one day I liked this guy. And I knew he wouldn’t like me. I wasn’t pretty enough, or skinny enough for him. And so when I was around him I was always nervous, and VERY self conscious. And one day he called me ugly. He was sarcastic, and joking, I knew, but it hurt…and I decided that I would impress him, and all my skinny friends, so I started eating less and less.
Today, this is what I ate:
Breakfast: Special K 90 cal. bar
Lunch: PB & J French Toast Sand. (Rachael Ray Recipe)
Snack: Handful of Trail Mix
and that is it, and I have been eating like that for about a month now…and everyday its easier to eat less, and now I’m getting worried I have a problem. I never crave food anymore (unless it’s just sitting there right infront of me) and every time I eat something, all I think about is how fat I am….
I think about anorexia everyday…I feel worried by not eating, but I feel terrible when I do…
I know I’m a normal weight, I checked my BMI and I’m healthy…I’m 5’2”-5’3” and 112-115 lbs….

you need to talk to a counselor right away. you are developing anorexia, and need to get yourself help
You need to excercise then you can eat ans lose weight
thats amazing you dont crave food anymore…you inspire me
your developing an eating disorder
It does sound like you may have a problem. The important thing is that you recognize that you have a problem. Talk to your doctor. You may benefit from talking to a counselor and/or a nutritionist.
i hate people who go on diets ur pethitic scum
I eat whatever i want i live right by mcdonalds and im skinny. I stay fit the old fashion way with blood sweat and tears.
I recommend u start pigging out on food but exercising a lot. I always order two large meals at mcdonalds but burn it out by going on long jogs. Dont ever go on a diet again you wont get no where. Stop dieting and start working. Not only will you get skinny but you feel like you really erned it
this is what i usually eat whole wheat cereal with low fat milk 1 cup
lunch banana and orrange
dinner potatoe and brocolli
that guy is a dick. And you may have a problem…I would consult a therapist.
Just work out a lot, swim, and do some cardio activities.
I am right there with you. When I was young, I would eat WHATEVER I wanted, WHENEVER I wanted. I never cared about the fat until I saw a few pictures of me from camp the other day. I thought I looked awful! Lately I have been obsessively exercising, and eating dangerously low amounts of food. An orange for breakfast, a grilled chicken salad for lunch, and a turkey sandwich for dinner… probably the equivalent of four to six grams of fat (since I never use any dressing or cheese or croutons or anything that might make my salads or sandwiches taste GOOD…) and that is bad. I read something that says girls my age are supposed to have sixty-six grams of fat a day. SIXTY-SIX. That’s ridiculous! Also, I have been obsessively exercising to burn the fat I already have… I jog three miles every day. And let me tell you, being skinny has not made me happy. In fact, it makes me miserable. My butt is so bony that I can’t get comfortable no matter how I sit, people ask me if I feel ok, and I never hang out with my friends anymore because I’m always afraid of them taking me to fast food places or not having time later in the day to go on my daily jog. I have become anti-social, and my friends tell me I look like a walking zombie. And I haven’t had a period in about 3 months, even though I used to be regular. There is only one word for what I am- ANOREXIC. Please don’t be like me. I’m miserable 24/7, and I no longer have a social life. You don’t want to be like this- trust me.
how would you know she’s white? she could be tanned/brownish
anyways..as long as you’re not starving yourself, you won’t have a problem. eat when your hungry, but don’t eat until you’re full. Also, try not to worry about what you’re eating all the time.
try eating 4-6 smaller meals a day to stop food cravings and to increase your metabolism (speed of your body burning fat).
Ok well it sounds like u have a problem since u said u didnt eat any dinner u need that stuff dude. i no u see this alot about how o that not healthy and all that but i think u should eat 3 meals a day and have a snack between each of them =)

It definitely sounds like you could be developing a problem. It sounds like you recognize it, which is the first step to getting better. You really need to be eating healthy, especially in your teenage years. Healthy doesn’t mean snacking on crap like chips and chocolate bars and eating at McD’s every day, but it’s also not starving yourself. There is a happy medium, which unfortunately, a lot of people seem to have difficulty staying within. I have struggled with an eating disorder since I was 14 (I’m 25 today) and I know exactly how you feel. Just remember that it’s important for your body to be getting enough nutrients, and even the models you see on TV often eat regular meals. Although healthy doesn’t mean overweight or obese, it doesn’t mean super skinny either, especially if you aren’t eating properly. If you continue having problems eating properly, I strongly encourage you to seek help from your guidance counselor, parents, or another professional. Believe me, eating disorders can be life threatening.
heres the problem. I think your menus are really bad…. just because you eat less it doesn’t necessarily mean you lose body fat.
I mean your menu shows foods with really less fat. If your body barely consumes the fat through out the day your body will turn it self in to survival mode, which means it tires to save the body fat it have in your body. which ain’t helping at all. so your body tries to save your bodyfat, then what is your body going to use it as fuel? carbs and protein that you consumed from those food, and your muscle. It is going to "eat up your muscle" Here is the thing about the muscle. The bigger the more developed muscle you have, more calories you burn. Which means starving your self not only puts you in to "survival mode" but it kills your fat burning machine. and another tip for losing body fat, you want to have 6 to 8 small meal through out the day. try to eat every 3 hour. Why should you eat lots of small meals? because every time you eat, your metabolism increases. which means you burn more calories. Also drink lots of water. because your muscle needs the water , and again, it should contribute to increasing your metabolism at least temporarily. Also try to avoind eating any food with carbs after 6 30 pm because after that, your body’s digestion slows down, which means your carb is going to flow around in your body and turn in to fat.
i’m you in a previous stage. I haven’t cut down me eating enough yet, but i will. Today I ate a rice cake, strawberries, veg hoagie, and a handful of cereal.
usually I eat two pieces of fruit (breakfast and lunch) and a regular dinner.
I think you are eating to many carbohydrate. you are forgetting about the protein,(lean meats, chicken, fish, meat) and lets not forget about the vegetable’s the fruits, salads, nuts. there is a lot of food that u can eat and not feel hungry . also don’t forget to drink plenty of water. If you don’t like the regular water you can put the little propel pouch.
first of all, props to you for recognizing that you have a problem. so many people never get that far and just live in denial their whole lives
talk to someone about it. if you address a problem like this with a school counseler, they are pretty much required by law to help you out. if your out of school (you never quite stated how old you are now), if you look up your counties Department of Social Services, they always have a mental/health department that could be a good place for you to get resources and lists of place that can help you.
You should not think that you are fat all the time because that type of thinking leads to anorexia. You need to eat healthy. From your diet plan, it seems healthy but not healthy enough. First of all, you need dinner which should contain some carbs and veggies/fruits. For breakfast and lunch and snacks, add a serving of fruit/veggie. Whenever you call yourself fat, tell your self that you are working towards a "healthier you!" Whatever you do, do not stop eating or throw up. This is very unhealthy. You should also workout for at least 30 minutes a day. Remember to drink water only and no pop/juice because that keeps the fat on. Do don’t have french toast all the time because it uses butter and eggs which have high fat/cholestreal. Don’t worry so much, you seem like you are conscious of what u are intaking and lost weight. Just keep it up and exercise and eliminate high fattening foods and focus on raw foods (Fruits/veggies/oatmeal-plain/wheats) and no more pastueazied (special k, jelly, french toast etc.) Have a plain whole wheat (see the grains) and no sugar added peanut butter. Jelly is excess sugar and has no nutritonal value. Special k is ok for when you are on the go but if u have time, make plain oatmeal with a teaspon of sugar (or more-just be careful). Hope that helps!
OH MY GOSH! THIS SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am doing something similar but…listen though i know its tough to lose wweight and once u do u dont want to ever go back but it will happen if u dot becareful cause ull just give up. DO NOT form an eating disroder tht would be the worst but try eating healthy even if its small amounts try to get all the food groups in & thts about all the advice i have cause in the same issue…
there definitely is an unhealthy obsession with food going on. You need to take the focus off of how much you eat and begin focusing on the types of food you eat. As long as you make healthy food choices and exercise on a regular bases, you won’t have a problem with weight control. Your current eating habits are ruining your metabolism and making it harder and harder for you to manage your weight. The less food you eat, the slower your metabolism gets because it doesn’t see the need to function normally. As soon as you begin to eat regular food portions, you will start to gain weight because your metabolism isn’t used to burning off so much food. You can fix the problem now though before it’s too late.
