If you are still within the growing age then perhaps you can add a few inches by eating a balanced diet and leading an active life. A nutritious diet that includes fruits and vegetables, dairy, cereals, meat, and plenty of water will aid the natural process for enhancing height. A good and proper night’s sleep is also essential for the growth process. Taking part in active sports along with some stretching exercises can have a cumulative effect on human growth. There is not much we can do to grow taller after puberty. There are many products in the market today that claim to increase height of adults, but they are all scams without sufficient scientific evidence. Surgical options, though available, are EXTREMELY RISKY and of course expensive. This leaves us with basically two options.
1.Stretching Exercises: – These exercises will help you improve your posture. You’ll be surprised that how much of “Height” is hidden behind your slouched back. milk every day, asparagus and other green vegetables, and get enough sleep and I think stretching after you wake up is going to help, just do it for few munites
My suggestion would be to eat as much organic fruit, vegetables and dairy as possible if you are in USA. There are so many altered foods and junky hydrogenated things here that you really do not know what nutients you are getting. Americans are going through puberty at younger ages than ever and they are stopping thier growth at shorter heights. I am guessing because of our poor diets. Cows are on hormonal drugs and antibiotics throughout thier lives to produce more milk and to remainn free from diseases that they may not even have. We are ingesting all of that! I dont want to scare you but if you want to be tall, then stay organic and eat everything in as natural/raw of a state as possible. No soda pop, hydrogentated foods or convenience munchies. Most likely your height will be determined by your genetic makeup but this is the best way to stretch what your parents genes have given you. Also consider the age you are going through puberty to be a factor in whether you will be tall or not. I am guessing if you are female you are lucky to grow one more inch but if you are male, there is more hope as long as you have tall parents or aunts and uncles.
