I'm 14 years old and very worried?
Recently my mum told me about a formula to calculate how tall you’re going to be when you’re older. Right now I’m 166 cm. The formula is that you add your mother and father’s heights together and minus 13. It came out as 168 cm. Naturally I’d like to be taller. Much taller than that. Like around 175-180 cm. How can I naturally grow taller? Drinking milk? I haven’t stopped growing yet, so I think I can manage to fit extra centimetres in there. Are there any exercises I can do? Anything I can eat? Thankyou.
Thanks guys but it’s really not helping. I want to know what I can eat or do to be taller.

She’s wrong. So don’t worry. People grow to all different heights. My sisters have the same mother and father and they’re 4 inches apart. I’m the same height as my father, which makes me a foot taller than my mother. There is no formula for determining height. All you can do is wait and see.

Stop worrying about how tall you are going to be.
No one can predict your height. They can estimate, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be right. There’s no formula, or else we would all know about it. Don’t worry about your height.
Those aren’t that accurate. My dad is 5’10” and my mom is 5’3”. I was supposed to be 5’9” because I was SO tall when I was a toddler, but it was just because I grew in height before many people my age. I’m done growing and I’m right on the borderline between 5’3” and 5’4”.
There really isn’t anything you can do. Just wait until you’re done growing. If you really want to be taller, maybe wear heels more often?
You don’t want to be tall. Trust me, I’m a tall person.
I’m 14 and nearly a foot taller thaqn my mother, half a foot taller than my father. And still growing.
No exercise other than exercise (so just be active and healthy). As for food, protein and all the good stuff.
Until you stop growing, eating a very healthy and balanced diet, is the key to growth.
Dont live on takeaways and junk food, eat vegetables, fruit, meat and drink water, milk and juices.
Also, you might find in a few years that you dont want to be that tall anymore, and you never know how tall you could be. That formula won;t tell you anything
you know i used to HATE my height. i was one of the smallest girls in my class, i still am! i wanted to be over at least 5’5. i’m 5’4 i have no idea what that is in cm but your height shouldn’t matter. i’m very comfortable at my height.
but if you’re really THAT obsessed about it, then do some stretches, maybe it could help but genetically, if your parents aren’t that tall you aren’t going to be either, unless you have tall relatives.
plus you’re only 14! i’m still growing and i’m 16, wait a while
