is it possible to grow taller than your predicted heigh based on genetics? if so how?
my male cousin is fifteen years old and he’s 5’2". he’s growing very slowly and was told that based on genetics only, his estimated height would be 5’4"-5’5". I know that 70% of your heigh is based on your genes, and 30% is based on nutrition, exercise, etc. but how can you tap into that 30% and grow taller than your estimated height.

If you’re under 25, there’s still a chance you could grow taller by eating healthy, having vitamins on the side ( ask your Dr. about this ) & exercizing daily.
Alot of people who used to play basket ball (for example ) managed to grow faster & taller than people who don’t , & researches showed that exercize can effect your hight.
As you may be aware that each generation seems to be taller than the preceding generation. That is supposedly due to be nutrition and better health care.
You can do nothing about the genetics so all you are left with is to make sure your male cousin eats very healthy food along with supplementing his diet with vitamins. Don’t over do the vitamins but do supplement his normal dietary intake.
Otherwise there is really nothing else you can do. Please be very aware of a lot of fraudulent companies which supposedly sell health drinks and foods that do nothing for your health other than cost you money.
exersise. eat/drink lots of calcium and protien. and there is no reaserch to prove this but i think by hanging out with tall ppl u cn actualy gt taller – i am friends with ppl all over 6ft and am nw 6ft 1 wheras my 1 yr older brother hangs about with small ppl and is smaller than me, but the third is my opinion
yes, it is possble to grow taller than a predicted height. This is becaue you all have a gentic height range we are to be not an exact height. so given poor diet we can fall below the predicted height or good diet pass it. The timeing of the growth spurt is a key player in all this however. The longer the time it takes to get it the more base inches you are growing which can make you end up quite a bit taller than exspected acually. Growth spurts are unperdictable as one person my sudennly grow 2 inches the slow down again while another might shoot up 7 or so inches so your friend as plenty of time.
