is it true that you become shorter and shorter as you age? if so, by how much and why? ?
is there any good exercise or diet we can do to prevent this? or at least minmize this? i know this sounds stupid but can adults in their 30′s still grow taller naturally with exercise and diet?

yes… but there is no certain amount… it all depends on the person and their genes.
i don’t think people start to typically lose their height until about their 50′s
i believe it has to do with degeneration of bones and discs in the spinal cord
one example is Osteoporosis
i believe one way to help prevent it is to do weight bearing exercises and get appropriate amounts of calcium in your diet
i mainly hear about women suffering from it

you can’t ever prevent it but you can minimize it. it’s just a natural thing. it doesnt happen for some time..like not in your thirties..it’s a bit later in life. and exercise period is good for aging well. it’s pretty obvious but a high veggie and fruit diet, proper portions all that healthy stuff. lol. stretching is really good, you know, yoga style exercise. brb
do good exercise that really works the heart ,raises the beat to the Maximum..every other day or when you feel comfortable..walk or ride a bike whenever you can..try your best to walk early in the day ,briskly,comfortable eat green,yellow,red veggies ,raw,cooked,ground flax seed found in the flour baking section Walmart 3 teaspoons a day .start half a teaspoon every Other day until you are used to it..Stay away from restaurants..they have to add fats so people keep coming for the good tastes..Eat seafood,,learn to cook Lean Italian style cooking,no fat,very Little starch , just enough to keep the body going not mounds of pasta you see advertised.My wife is italian,,her family has a restaurant in Pisa ,Italy,,You can eat mounds and mounds of food there and not get fat,,It is seafood,Natural grain breads..you don’t have to nibble between meals in Italy..You to full of good stuff..My wife knows all the pastry shops within 40 miles of Pisa but you are to full of good food to eat much pastry…..see what diabetics have to eat..this is what will happen to you with McD ‘s ,Dairy Queen i AM 68 years old exercise everyday,swim..Blood pressure good my wieght is 184 going down to 160 soon I aam 5 ft 8 in
