Is leg lengthening worth the pain and cost?
I have a good job, I’m taking my master’s, I’m fashionable, I keep in good shape, I do martial arts, and I’m outgoing. I’m also a 5′ 4" man, and no matter how many accomplishments I put under my belt, people still pity me, and I pity myself. I can’t even show any signs of weakness because I’d distance myself from my friends and family. I’m not ignorant, and I know height determines a man worth despite politically correct words of encouragement.
There is a procedure to increase height 2"-3", but it costs ,000 and a year of your life. I’ve also read it is one of the most painful experiences people have ever had and has a small chance of terrible complications; yet I feel this is one of the few options I have left. Any advice is welcome, but I think you really need to be a short man to understand the situation I’m going through right now.

It seems to me that you have a self-confidence issue, not a height issue.
I really don’t think so. If you are confident and comfortable people won’t even notice it. I know you don’t care about words of encouragement but its really not a big deal and I don’t think worth the time or money.. or the pain.
NO WAY DONT DO THAT! Im a girl , and well girls like tall guys but that is not worth a year of your life, or 80,000$. Please do not do that. Im sure it would complicate your walking and scarring would probably occur. Thats also the stupidest thing Ive ever even heard of. >:o Dont do it. Your not THAT short T _ T
Soooo – you want to spend upwards of $80,000.00 to alter one of God’s creations!!

What happens if you drop dead of a heart attack before it’s all finished & how long will you get to enjoy your new found dignity?
You got it ALL wrong, Bubba! Life is not always the way it’s supposed to be. It’s just the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
It would be MUCH less expensive to checkout ELEVATOR SHOES online. This company has been around for many, many years & specialize in shoes with built in two to four inch inserts to make you appear taller than you actually are.
