So here’s the problem. I feel I am too short relative to the height of males on both sides of my family. I am 17 years old and I have been in puberty for about 8 years. I am currently 5′ 7.5". My mother is 5’7" and my dad is 5’10". I am of italian and northern european/russian decent. I have not grown much of the past couple of years. On both sides of my family I have cousins that are over 5’10" most ranging from 5’11" to 6’2". My questions are 1) will I grow a few more inches? 2) is there a way to increase growth hormones naturally to grow more? 3) if I exercise more will I increase growth hormones and grow taller? This is a major problem for me so please take this serious. Thank you for your help.

Because of an accident I had 8 years before I have a leg length discrepancy. My broken leg is about 5 cm shorter than my normal leg. Because of which I have a slight limb.

To correct this and to reduce the risk of spinal problems on later years I was advised to wear high heals/ shoe lift on my broken leg.

My problem now is:
If I were 5 cm shoe lift, I am not feeling comfortable and feel unstable as if I am going to fall down.

If I were a 3 cm lift I feel stable, but feel the pain in my ankle joint.

PS: I have never felt pain if I do not were any shoe lift.

I am now confused on what to do to correct this or just not were anything?

I had a small piece of bone that had a benigned tumor in it removed from my left hip. I was 7 or 8 years old in the 1950′s. I wore a cast for a long long time. It was said my parents didn’t take me back to the dctor to have to have the cast removed when it was supposed to.
