im 15 and i play basketball and i need to grow faster soon with no effort is there a way to grow taller naturally or is there any work out that can help me grow taller?

I’m 15 Turing 16 and i’m about 5’6, my dad is 5’4 and my mom is 5’5 or so, and i was wondering is it possible for me to reach 5’10 at least? because my brother is 5’9, but when he was my age he wasn’t as strong or active as me. So can you give me tips to increase my growth? i already play basketball and i heard that increase height too. But please i need to know what other things i can do to increase height?

So i’m 16 and so far I’ve only had a couple of boyfriends. And the reason for that would be because of my height. I’m currently 6’1 and I’m pretty sure I’m done growing. Two of my boyfriends were taller than me and the other one was a couple inches shorter. I absolutely hated dating the shorter guy. I feel like the man should be the taller one in the relationship, not the girl. I feel like I’m never gonna find a guy taller than me, someone who I can literally "look up to". What’s even harder is that I’m white but the population at my school is mostly Asian, and we all know that Asian people are just generally shorter. My other 2 boyfriends were older, one was 19 and the other was 21, so naturally my mom didn’t approve of them so those relationships were cut pretty short. I know there are tall guys out there but they are always older, and my mom won’t let me date them. But I don’t wanna wait until I’m 18 before I can be in a real relationship. Help! It really sucks being tall. How do you suggest I go about the next 2 years being realationshipless and alone? Or how do I convince my mom to let me go out with older guys? Also, please don’t say "oh, you should play basketball or be a model" I get that all the time and i hate it

I am 14 male about to turn 15 and i am 5-11 145 lbs. I want to grow at least 6 feet and above. I exercise a lot! I play basketball, running, and stretch a lot! I drink milk about 2 times a day. I eat healthy. My dad is 5-10 and my mom is 5-4. I really want to grow taller. I want to be at least 6 when i am 15. How can i get taller? What should i expect to my height to be? Ok so I’m 14, 128lbs and 5’6 I’ve been weightlifting for the past year and a half now, and have only grown slowly in that time,I read up that it stunts your growth,if I give up the weights now at 14 is it still possible for me to grow? I now eat 2500cals a day, (all heathly,) gathering me enough vitamins and minerals and protein,carbs,fat etc. And now play basketball for 30minutes daily aswell as getting 9 hours sleep nightly, I was wondering if this is enough to help improve my chances of growing, I’m hoping to be around 5’10 atleast, I was considering to take up some stretches but I don’t know which ones work, do you guys know any? Or do you know any other ways I could get taller? And don’t give me any of this crap like elevator shoes or pills cuz there just a waste of time and my parents won’t let me get them, 10 points best answer, I’m a male by the way

My height is a joke. All my friends are like towers and I’m always embarrassed with my height. Girls I like are higher than me.

I love basketball but since I’m so damn short it’s hard to play with giants. Oh, and I could never reach the rim.

AND THE WORST THING. People sometimes make jokes about my height and that Asians are short… That drives me nuts.

I’m 5’3 and 14 years old my parents aren’t that tall. I wanna grow for basketball

I’m in 8th grade, I’m about 6’0-6’1. I play basketball and am tall now but I won’t be for high school.. I want to know if more sleep or milk or anything will help me grow to about 6’3 before freshman year. My mom is about 5’8 and my dad 6’1.. My grandpa is about 6’3 though. I’ve only grown about 5 inches in the last year and a half. That’s kinda depressing. Any help please?

1. eat healthy as always (i stay away from junk food and soda exc.) dont smoke/alcohol
2. I drink lots of milk (lots of calcium in it.)
3. I do stretch-exercises every day for 15 minutes. Day, Midday and Night.
(i will play basketball now and then on the summer)
4. I have the best posture ever!
5. I sleep alot, 8-9 hours a day

Okay, I’m fourteen, but I look eleven or twelve. So here’s what I look like/wear: My face isn’t really a "baby face" because it doesn’t have that extra fat on it, but it’s not fully defined yet. I have a little acne, but as stupid as this sounds, I want a LITTLE because it will make me look older. I shave, but I’m planning on not doing it for a little bit so I will have some facial hair. I spike my hair up in the front only. I’m gaunt and short. I usually wear a regular pair of shorts a little past my knees. I wear black Nike shoes (not basketball ones). My voice is going through that awkward stage of it cracking lol. I’m naturally tan. My legs aren’t fat, but they aren’t little twigs either. There’s a little bit of leg hair, but not like a grown man’s legs. I wear ankle cut socks. So how can I look taller and older? I don’t want to look older than 14, I just want to look my actual age. BTW, people are always surprised about my age.

I’m 17 and 2 months ( just turned 17 ) – male – and i wanna reach 6′ or higher.
my parents are normal, or idk. mom is 5’2 and dad’s 5’6. i know i have gone through their height already but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
My mother’s family is tall, not my father’s.
i hear lots of people say "it’s all in your genes, if your parents are short then you probably will too", well get this- it’s not ONLY genes, it’s 60% genetics and 40% diet/health.
1. eat healthy as always (i stay away from junk food and soda exc.)
2. I drink loads of milk !! (lots of calcium in it.)
3. I do stretch-exercises every day for 15 minutes, (i will play basketball now and then on the summer)
4. I have the best posture ever! the best one in my family, no one in my family has a good posture… so that’s a BIG plus for me.
5. I sleep alot, 8-9 hours a day, sometimes take naps for 30 min a day.

So, i do these things and i hope they pay off. I’m gonna try this out all the way to summer, and then see if i have changed.

Also: If we go deeper in this…
My parents never had a good lifestyle and diet when they were young, so they never got good vitamins in their body. Who knows what height-hormones was hiding behind those bodies. but I on the other hand have a good lifestyle so far. I do my best and work my *** off to get the best results.

So my parents have been talking to some friends, and one of their friends families is all short, like for the past 4 generations have all been short, but their kid plays baseball and basketball, and he’s 17 and 6 foot 5.

So, does playing a sport make you grow taller, faster?

ooh, err i’m 5’9 currently

im turning 16 tomorrow and i weigh some where in the 150s. 6′ 6" is my dream height because i play a lot of basketball. What exercises or routines should i do to grow taller. I appreciate the help

This is not a racist or stereotypical question at all! I’m just wondering why there are a lot more black people playing in the NBA than white people. I know there are a lot of good white players (Blake Griffin, Dirk, Ginobil, etc.) But there just seems to be a lot more black players than white. Is it because of genetics? Are they naturally taller or stronger? Is it because a lot of black people grow up in low income neighborhoods and they have nothing else to do but play basketball. Again, this is not trying to be stereotypical or racist. I just want to know why there are a lot more black players than white.

Hi, I’m turning 14 soon in a few months. I play the center position for basketball which requires height. I’m currently 6 foot and taller than almost all my friends. I want to try and and grow to at least 6’10 so I can continue playing center in my future teams when I’m older.

I would like to know the chances of me reaching 6’10

My Father is 5’8, Mother is 5’7.
I always get atleast 1-2 hours of exercise per day
I eat alot of foods rich in protein and calcium.
I eat plenty of fruit but not as many vegetables
I will be 14 in a few months

So theres a few things I would like to know:
1-Is it possible for me to even reach 6’10?
2-If it is possible, what are my odds of reaching 6’10?
3-What can I do to ensure I grow to my full potential?

from 1st to 3rd grade i was a little under average height. also i was a little chunky. through those grades i grew normally. but once third grade was over, that summer i grew about 6 inches. in 4th grade i was about 5 6. at the end of the grade i was 5 8.then in 5th grade i probably grew a half inch or so. but in the middle of 6th grade i was 6ft tall and weighed 200lbs. i had started basketball and wrestling that year. i wasnt fat at all. was in great shape. i have never been one of those tall lanky kids.in 7th grade i was 6 1 and 6 2 weighing about 215lbs. 8th grade i was about 6 3, 220 lbs. now i am a freshman and im 6 5 and weigh 240lbs. im a little chunky. my shoe size is 16 mens. ( kevin garnett has a size 15 and he is about 6 11-7ft ) my dad is 6 1. my mom is 5 10.5. my dad is the tallest on his side. and he tallest on my moms side is 6 4. i am taller than that and im barely 15. i have never really worked out. always been naturally strong. also i eat better than most kids.
ps i havnt exaggerated anything i said.
