I’m really short for my age, I am 4’10 and weigh 103 pounds which makes me look chubby. I know your supposed to drink milk but whenever I drink milk, I hate the taste of it and I end up throwing up. My doctor said to eat yogurt, cheese and even those flinestone calcium candy but nothing helps. All of my family are also short. I want to grow at least to 5’5 but that will probably never happen. Is there any certain type of food or exercise that will help me grow taller?
I am 15, almost 16 and I am 5’5 1/2, maybe 5’6. I am a late bloomer, I didn’t get my period until 14 and my dad grew until he was 21. Im not sure about my mom, 18 I think. My mom is 5’7 and my dad is 5’10. I’m 100% polish so the polish build is naturally tall and lean, I weigh something like 105 pounds. Anyways, I want to model (I’ve been to several agencies that said I have the perfect face/body type except for my height and though I’ve landed a few jobs I can’t get anything serious unless I grow. Just to let you know, height genetics in my family are quite varied. Its like their more environment influenced than gene influenced. For example my cousins from my moms side are both over 6 foot (an one is a girl) but their parents are pretty short. My cousins from my dads side didn’t follow their parents height at all. My aunts kids for example are all over 6 foot, the tallest is 6’4 and theyre guys by the way but they are all very athletic. Their mom is 5’3 and their dad is 5’7 but theyre giants. On the other hand my uncles kids (girls) are petite. They are 5’1 and 5’4 but their mom and dad are both 5’9. However they are not very athletic. I’ll do anything that has to do with excercise except swimming because I don’t have regular access to a pool. I’ll also take pills/supplements. As far as diet goes I need recommendations that will also keep me skinny because ofcourse that is essential to modeling. My guess is lean meats, fish, and vegetables but I could be wrong. My goal is to be atleast 5’8 so thats only 2 more inches but idealy I’d like to be 5’10. I’ve heard that 4 inches is possible, especially when done at a young age and I have atleast 3 years before my growth plates fuse. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Oh also, if its at all possible I’d like to get to 5’8 in one year because thats when I get my braces off and I can restart modeling. Thanks!! ![]()

So I’m turning 15 in about 3 months, so right now its summer and I’m 14. In seventh grade I was 4’10, and I just finished 9th grade at 5’6. But, I’m still really short. My mom is 5 feet and my dad is 6 feet, and I’m 100% Chinese, making me a lil’ short. But, I would like to get much taller. Is there a way to grow like 4 inches naturally? Or am I still due for another growth spurt soon. What foods should I eat/drink? I drink milk and Orange juice with Calcium and Vitamin D. Help I don’t wanna be short forever!

So I’m 5’2 and a half, almost touching 5’3, and I want to grow 3 inches taller. My mom and dad are average, but the rest of my family (from both sides) are tall-ish, women going from 5’4-5’6 and men from 5’8-5’11. I drink milk once a day, don’t really do any exercises (but I’ve started biking everyday for 30-45 mins), and I have a calcium tablet a day (which had worked for me at 11-12 years old). Are there any exercises/stretches to grow taller in around 4-6 months? I want to be 5’6-ish before I start high school next year. Diet and stuff? Thanks! ![]()
I am 31 years old, i am 5feet 7inches barefoot, 5 feet 8inches in shoes, i do workout, lift weights, play basket ball regularly. will my height change or remain the same, i dnt wanna shrink. i drink lots of orange juice and eat at subway. i make sure i get my calcium and eat fruits and veggies. please help.

my parents are normal, or idk. mom is 5’2 and dad’s 5’6. i know i have gone through their height already but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
My mother’s family is tall, not my father’s.
i hear lots of people say "it’s all in your genes, if your parents are short then you probably will too", well get this- it’s not ONLY genes, it’s 60% genetics and 40% diet/health.
1. eat healthy as always (i stay away from junk food and soda exc.)
2. I drink loads of milk !! (lots of calcium in it.)
3. I do stretch-exercises every day for 15 minutes, (i will play basketball now and then on the summer)
4. I have the best posture ever! the best one in my family, no one in my family has a good posture… so that’s a BIG plus for me.
5. I sleep alot, 8-9 hours a day, sometimes take naps for 30 min a day.
So, i do these things and i hope they pay off. I’m gonna try this out all the way to summer, and then see if i have changed.

My parents never had a good lifestyle and diet when they were young, so they never got good vitamins in their body. Who knows what height-hormones was hiding behind those bodies. but I on the other hand have a good lifestyle so far. I do my best and work my *** off to get the best results.

Is it possible to grow taller? Currently im 17 years old. I am about 1.86 meters, or about 6’1". I lift heavy weights on a daily basis. I eat a high protein diet. I am extremely active. My diet consists of huge amounts of calcium, protein, and many dietary supplements such as creatine, multi-vitamins, and arginine. Is there any chance I can grow to an adult height of 6’2"? According to growth charts I should be about 6’1.5"
I’m a teenage girl. I sleep 9 hours a day, take a calcium tablet occasionally, and drink milk, yet I’m only 5′ 2”.
Is there anything else I can do to grow taller? Any sport I should take up? Any fruit I should eat?

Hi, I’m turning 14 soon in a few months. I play the center position for basketball which requires height. I’m currently 6 foot and taller than almost all my friends. I want to try and and grow to at least 6’10 so I can continue playing center in my future teams when I’m older.
I would like to know the chances of me reaching 6’10
My Father is 5’8, Mother is 5’7.
I always get atleast 1-2 hours of exercise per day
I eat alot of foods rich in protein and calcium.
I eat plenty of fruit but not as many vegetables
I will be 14 in a few months
So theres a few things I would like to know:
1-Is it possible for me to even reach 6’10?
2-If it is possible, what are my odds of reaching 6’10?

It says that it makes them taller and makes the bones stronger… How exactly does calcium make you taller? I’m 14 and I was wondering if I drank a lot of milk would it make me grow taller? I’m a 19 year old female and I want to grow taller but it seems my height growth has been stagnant since the 6th grade. I am 5’2". I would like to grow at least 2 more inches. In my fantasy I would like to be 5’6"-5’10" lol but only in my dreams I guess would this be possible. Anyways I wanna know do people really have an age when they just stop growing? If so whats the age for girls? I have all sorts of heights in my family, but regardless of them, do I still have a chance if i try methods of growing taller? Like what should I eat, drink, do? I’m 16 and my height is about 174 cm (about 5’8") I really want to grow taller because I feel like I am very short and I think that I will look better if I were taller. I drink soy milk everyday. Does soy milk contain less calcium than dairy milk? What exercise routines could you suggest for me to grow a bit taller?
Would Silk Soy Milk help too. It is fortified with vitamins A and D and it is Calcium enriched. Also, what are some things I can do to grow better and more naturally? I’m 13 by the way, just in case you thought I was an adult trying to grow more.
