I’m really short for my age, I am 4’10 and weigh 103 pounds which makes me look chubby. I know your supposed to drink milk but whenever I drink milk, I hate the taste of it and I end up throwing up. My doctor said to eat yogurt, cheese and even those flinestone calcium candy but nothing helps. All of my family are also short. I want to grow at least to 5’5 but that will probably never happen. Is there any certain type of food or exercise that will help me grow taller?

im 17 and male.
my parents are short, 5’2 and 5’6.
my cousins are all 6’2, i wanna reach that height :( my diet is perfect! [I eat 6 small meals per day]
my posture is awesome.
i drink LOADS of milk! and stretch 3 times a day for 5minutes, and i sleep alot, 8-9 hours a day.
i eat Veggies,Cheese,Fruits exc. no junk food.. no alcohol, no smoking. im easily doing everything to gain those extra inches :(
i JUST turned 17, 17 and 2 months now ^^ how tall can i become?

im curious of this cos i wanna grow taller, im 17 and 2 months (JUST turned 17,) and my both parents are short, 5’2 and 5’7, im currently 5’9. but i wanna grow even taller. i wanna reach my dream height – 6’1. all my cousins are over 6’2. i also wanna be like that :( (
im doing all of these things – sleep (8 hours a day, sometimes take naps), food (healthy diet, such as Veggies,Fruits,Cheese exc.), stretch exercises (3 times a day).
and i drink LOADS of milk /:)
what heght can i reach if i do this for 4 years? I’m having a good posture and an awesome lifestyle.

I’m 15 and im 5’1.
i don’t like milk.. so that doesnt help my bones at all.
so i was wondering if there’s other things i can to to help..
my dad is about 6’5, and my mom is 5’6. :P
so i could be taller.. my brother is 13 and is 5’2 1/2.
i eat lots of cheese cos i looove it & yogurt too.
so any more things i could do? stretches? tips?
but i don’t sleep THAAT much x) lol.

I have been measuring myself and I noticed that I haven’t been growing much any advice? I have been sleeping midnight does that affect my growth? I think I eat a well balanced meal for breakfast I have either a sandwhich or cereal with milk and for Lunch I eat rice with something and for dinner I either have a salad or platains with cheese. I haven’t been using my computer lately and I start playing sports. I am skinny but not that tall. I measure myslef every day and I noticed that I was taller one day and the next I was short but like 2 inches why is that? Any advice on how to grow? and How do people grow?

Okay, so I am turning fourteen in three days. I am 5’3" EXACT. I have been trying to grow tall from cheese to milk. I dont eat those stuff everynight but occasionaslly here and there. Well my mum is 5’5 and dad is 5’8, my bro is 17 and he went thru "changes" so he’s 5’8′ now and is seventeen. I havent grown for two yrs or so and my mom stopped growing when she was in ninth or 10th grade and i am in ninth! please also dont give me that "its okay to be short" or "get over it." cuz umm..NO . I really want to be tall but my growth process is going to slow. agh help!

at the beginning of eighth grade i grew some but then i stopped, i am now 5’3 1/2 . i wanna be 5’5 by the end of the summer . my mom is 5’0 or 4’9 and my dad is 5’6 . ive heard if you sleep with your legs straight it might make you grow taller . i go to sleep at 9 and wake up around 7 every day (and its summer) . i eat healthy . and i have healthy desserts . i almost have milk everyday (not a glass but calcium, like cheese sometimes, or low fat icecream, i dont really like milk )

i think sleeping with your legs straight really worked for me, i did it for 2 months and i grew .

What are some foods that I should eat, and how much?

I know milk is very important, how much do you think I should drink in order to grow taller?

Also, how much sleep should I get? I’ve heard 7-8 is average, but would 9 be more efficient for growth?
Thx for all the answers, I have a few more things to clear up though.

1. If I run 4-6 laps a day will that ruin growth because of that disk thing lol

2. Should that 24 Oz. of milk be pure milk, or split between milk and dairy products like cheese?
