Ok so Iam 15 and my height is 1.73 ( or 5´7). My father is 1.83 (or 6´1) and my mother is 1.66 (or 5´3). Summer is coming up and I want to know any tips on what to do to increase my height a little more. get a lot of exercise and have a good diet.
My parents are not that tall, I am almost as tall as my Dad and taller than my mom. Are there any good exercises which I can do to grow? Will I still grow taller? I am 5’4. Any good fitness exercises?? Or maybe a good diet!
well im still very young and i think im going to grow just a little bit taller later on the reason why i say this is because i take after my dads side and im taller than any of the girls in my family.. and i really mean taller … but i want to know . Recently ive changed my diet to lose a little weight and im doing pretty good.. but what i dont like is my big hips.. im skinny but have curves the curves come from my moms side . and i dont think the big hips look that flattering on me.. id rather just reduce them a bit… so i was wondering if i eat healthy exercise and stay focused would i be able to make my hips thinner ? or smaller
im 5’4 right now and i really want to be taller. even just an inch would be a victory for me. my reach height is 5’7.
im willing to do all kinds of exercises and change anything in my diet. i develop later than the average girl, so i might not be done growing yet, but idk.

Just to start of, I’m 5’5 and about 92-93 pounds and fourteen years old. I don’t think I have an eating disorder because I DO eat! Please tell me whether the following information given makes you feel I have an eating disorder or not! This is an example of what I eat: *I don’t eat the same thing everyday!
Breakfast:
Weetbix w/ soyamilk and a few dry fruits
Lunch:
Noodles, pasta, rice, or bread with a few veggies.
4:30 Snack: Soyamilk with fruit
Dinner: Rice, veggies and some sort of protein.
Around 1400-1600 calories.
I do not eat ANYTHING (not even a single chip) in between…I’m not sure why but I don’t.
I eat between 1/4-1/2 cup of uncooked rice for dinner and my soyamilk is around 200ml in the evening.
I don’t exercise that much but I climb a lot of stairs at school…and by that I mean quite a lot. I walk as much as possible and sometimes I try to fit in a 3km run. I have stopped having my periods since around 8 months and have lost around 8 kgs. It’s not much but I guess I was sorta NATURALLY thin to start with. Everytime I lose weight, I don’t feel like increasing at all! But when I look at tall, slim girls I start to say to myself "Eat right for the next couple of years and grow tall, then go on a diet" I say that almost every week but after eating my dinner, I have to work off the calories one way or the other. My friends keep telling me how skinny I am but they themselves look skinnier to me. I know that I’m skinnier only because they weigh about 10 pounds more. But when I look at myself, I only see fat thighs. I like the upper part of my body but my legs look so fat! My mom is constantly worried about my eating habits but I don’t think I need to because I do EAT! I’m not afraid of food! I just don’t eat junk (AT ALL-I literally mean NEVER, atleast at my own will) unless my parents or family force me. I’m eating…am I still at the risk of an ED? I want to be 39kgs. When I reach there, I will just maintain for a while and then come back to about 42-43kgs. But right now, thats my goal. I just want to know what my body will look like!
Btw, how many calories does 1/2 cup of uncooked rice have? I’m so worried right now ![]()

it sucks i’ve been short my whole life.
i remember in kindergarten that the teachers told me i was the shortest kid, so then i cried and i just think it was cruel for them to hurt my self estem like that it sucks i just turned 15 i’m only 5’4" and i preety sure i din’t hit my growth spurt yet. and i’m just wondering if there is a good chance of me growing a couple of inches beause i can’t stand being small any more . and if i don’t grow anymore is there a surgery that can ake my legs longer. i thought i saw something on this show once.

So I’m 5’2 and a half, almost touching 5’3, and I want to grow 3 inches taller. My mom and dad are average, but the rest of my family (from both sides) are tall-ish, women going from 5’4-5’6 and men from 5’8-5’11. I drink milk once a day, don’t really do any exercises (but I’ve started biking everyday for 30-45 mins), and I have a calcium tablet a day (which had worked for me at 11-12 years old). Are there any exercises/stretches to grow taller in around 4-6 months? I want to be 5’6-ish before I start high school next year. Diet and stuff? Thanks! ![]()

my diet is perfect! [I eat 6 small meals per day]
my posture is awesome.
i drink LOADS of milk! and stretch 3 times a day for 5minutes, and i sleep alot, 8-9 hours a day.
i eat Veggies,Cheese,Fruits exc. no junk food.. no alcohol, no smoking. im easily doing everything to gain those extra inches ![]()

Or are you going to tell me that it’s not based on diet and it’s on genetics? i’m a 15 year old female and i want to grow really bad! i read in a few articles that asians are short because their diets are typically grains. and when they arrive at america , their diets change so that is why you see 6’5 tall asians walking around these days!! is this true? would it work? or is it just crazy? what happens when i eat more protein then i need?
my mom said that i shouldn’t diet because my period come and that mean i am starting to grow taller and when i eat alot when i grow taller will i become a skinny or average body.
Well I have to questions that don’t really relate to one another. Feel free to answer only one.
So…
1. I’m and a 14 year old girl at 5 feet. Almost 5 foot 1, and in the past I may have stunted my growth due to over excercise and over healthy eating. I know that sounds odd. In 6th grade for a month i didn’t eat any sweets, and never ate after five pm. But i lost like 13 pounds that month. I may have stunted my growth with my unintentional diet. (i had like vinegar with like everything too btw) My mom is about 5 foot 3 and my dad is 5 foot 10 will i still grow enough to become about 5 foot 5 or taller?
2. My second question has to do with hair. I have naturally curly hair, but use those hot curlers in my hair to make them perfect and so that all the curls look even. I want to have those same great curls but i don’t want to damage my hair. Any suggestions?
Oh and by the way i started my period in 5th grade if that changes anything.

I would like to be at least 5 foot 3 and a half before I stop growing. I really want to grow. I weigh 104, 16 years old in 2 months, and im 5 foot 1 and a half. So I would like to grow 2 inches by the time im 16, which is two months. I f not possible can you tell me how to grow faster the fastest natural way. My doctor says ill stop growing around the time my dad did, and he stopped growing when he was 16 and 3/4. And I also want to know how to gain muscle. Im a track runner trying to improve my mile time but thats not my case. I want to gain muscle in my biceps and triceps so that when I put on the sweaters from banana republic(yes, the small fits me) the sleeves don’t look that loose. I see normal guys putting on sweaters and their sleeves are good cus of their muscle. Please tell me a diet for gaining muscle in biceps and triceps, workouts that won’t stunt growth(I do not feel comftorable bench pressing, i will use dungbells like once every two weeks), and please tell me how to grow 2 inches before my time runs out. Another thing, sorry if its too much info but I don;t believe in that 2-3 times a week workouts, i think thats too slow. I normally workout my biceps and triceps every day for like 30 min.

I used to be overweight but as I grew older I did more excsersize and that along eith me getting taller made become on the normal weight range however my legs are still quite chubby and so is my face and stomach they’re not too bad but does anyone know a way in which I could loose this weight naturally without going on an intensive diet ? I know a lot of people ask this question but here it goes again. I just turned 13 this november, and I haven’t been growing since december 2009! I’m worried I’m 158 or 5’2. My mom is 165 or 5’4 my dad is 168 or 5’6. I haven’t really been active this year though. Last year I grew from 153 to 158 after my period started in 2008. I started to swim regularly again and I plan on playing more basketball and tennis, and biking. my doctor said I would grow until 17 but I’m worried if I would stop if I don’t exercise a lot. I feel the need to stretch out all the time. like tightness in my back and thighs and my upper arm, are these signs that my bone is still growing? any specific exercise plans like swimming how long, basketball how long, or biking too. and is there a really good diet to go with? and I’m 105 pounds should I loose the 5lbs? at least in the thighs.

I am 5′,8-9" I turned 15 on 4th July this year.
I am DESPERATE to dunk.. I have seen people my height doing "dunks" but I can only reach the rim when It Is at 8.5-9feet. Considering the regulation Is 10ft, I have a way to go.
My questions are that:
