I am marketing elevator shoes but am wondering if making the claim that I can add real inches to someones height sounds too outrageous without initially explaining what I mean.
thoughts?
my brother wants to be taller but I dont know which shoes to get but ive heard of elevator shoes but i dont know if they make it in his size his size is 2 or 2 1/2 and please be cheap shoes
ok but do you know where to buy a shoe with a big heel
Ok so I’m 14, 128lbs and 5’6 I’ve been weightlifting for the past year and a half now, and have only grown slowly in that time,I read up that it stunts your growth,if I give up the weights now at 14 is it still possible for me to grow? I now eat 2500cals a day, (all heathly,) gathering me enough vitamins and minerals and protein, carbs, fat etc. And now play basketball for 30minutes daily aswell as getting 9 hours sleep nightly, I was wondering if this is enough to help improve my chances of growing, I’m hoping to be around 5’10 atleast, I was considering to take up some stretches but I don’t know which ones work, do you guys know any? Or do you know any other ways I could get taller? And don’t give me any of this crap like elevator shoes or pills cuz there just a waste of time and my parents won’t let me get them, 10 points best answer, I’m a male by the way
I’m a 4’9” girl and wear elevator shoes. I have one pair that look like typical black boots but I can’t wear black boots ALL the time. I love converse but sadly they give me no height. I haven’t come across any elevator shoes that don’t look like old day cowboy boots, lol. Are there any shows that might be able to accomodate a 5 inch lift, or 4-5 inch elevator shoes that look like something a teenager would wear? Like skate shoes?
Do not give me that "Just accept yourself the way you are", "Great things come in small packages" bs. Been there, done that, I hate my height.
Thanks. ![]()
In University I had a difficult professor who never had a girlfriend and was always criticizing us harshly… I sent him a mail order bride catalog, another time I sent him elevator shoes catalog, and we filled his office with napoleon pictures.
Now I am irritated at my boss and I am plotting but I think I am too mature to go through with anything.
I am talking about a homemade shoe insole; somethimh like the elevator shoes.
I wear 5.2 inch elevator shoes, and have been for a few months, but am getting really bored of the design. They look a bit like this http://www.amazon.com/CALDEN-K881801-Increasing-Elevator-Motorcycle/dp/B004U768PK/ref=sr_1_7?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1307313404&sr=1-7 .
Are there any elevator shoes out there that look a bit less….boot-like, bulky and boring? I’m a girl too, and have to order a size larger than my own because they only have 5 inch shoes for guys. Do they have any 5 inch elevator shoes for girls? Please help. I’m very short, a bit less than 4’9, and these help me with my confidence a lot. I just dont want to be limited to one pair and have people wonder why I always wear them.
Not necessarily elevator shoes, just shoes that have somewhat a high heel on them.
Would that be a turn off? Or would you even prefer it?
I have a friend, a middle aged man, and everyone suspects that he has been wearing elevator height-increasing shoes. He’s gone to our church for years and he’s worked in my office for years. Last year, suddenly, his height increased by 2-3 inches and some people noticed he was wearing these large heavier shoes. Well, being polite people, no one ever said "How does it feel to be tall now?" or "Wow! You’re so much taller in your elevator shoes". Then recently, this guy stopped wearing these funky shoes and he’s back to being his normal height. It’s just sort of funny in a way. No one dares to say anything since he has always been sensitive about being so vertically challenged at 5′ 3". What would you say to a friend who was "tall" last year and now he’s short again? Just let it go? Also, people used to call his dad "Shorty" and his dad took the nickname in good fun, but some people also called this friend of mine "Shorty, Jr" which really iritated me to hear, as I don’t like to hear anyone being made fun of. I think he stopped wearing the shoes because of how much they cost, like 0 a pair and they look so obviously different from normal shoes.
I want to be a friend to this guy. He’s got so many great things going for him. He’s got a good job, he drives a nice car, he’s got lots of friends, but he is so obsessed with the fact that he’s below average short. I want to try to tell him that height doesn’t matter. It’s who he is inside that matters, and he has a lot of things going for him that some taller guys may not all necessarily have, good job (been there 20 years), paid for house, etc. But he feels so inferior because of his height and he spent who-knows-how-much on those height-increasing shoes that didn’t fool anyone.
What would you say to this guy if you knew him?
I am really unhappy with my height, and looking for elevator shoes. They have women’s, but they’re all 3 inches or less. The men’s go up to 5 inches, but they don’t have the right size for me. Where can I find a better selection of elevator shoes? Are there any stores that aren’t online? Thanks.
As a short man 5’5" what’s a woman’s opinion of a guy wearing elevator shoes. I just looked up online and I saw one that added 5.5 inches to your height. I mean women often wear 4 inch high heals, is there anything wrong with a man wearing elevator shoes? No I would never wear them but i’m curious on what women think about them.
@Anne I put in the 4" heels because I have heard in the past that some women own high heels that add 4" to their height, making them a lot taller than "shorter" men.
I’m looking to add a couple of inches(subtly). Are they noticeable? ANyone have any experience wearing elevator shoes? And where would you recommend? Thanks in advance.
Im around 5’10 and have always been into tall ladies 5’8+, but due to my height I always seem to have a hard time getting with tall ones.. so i was wondering if I should where elevator shoes that would bring me to around 6′ and boost my confidence.. any advice??
I saw an older post of this subject and I am surprised that I am embracing this as a 5’7" lovely woman who like wearing high heels..I don’t go camping with my heels! Elevator shoes are wonderful, sports shoes too…They don’t have visual highheels what so ever…..So as long as he is 5’10" he can easliy be my 5’11.5" or 6.0" guy most of the time and still be balanced when sleeping together etc. All this pleases women who are not attracted to men that are short… Just one imperfect woman’s opinion…
I’m 5 ft 7, so not tiny, but every time i go out all the girls where like 3 or 4 inch heels, so maybe half of them are taller than me…
I heard about these cheeky elevator shoes, just wondering if anyone had any comments/insight regarding them?
I say "is it worth it" in regards to if you do get friendly with a lady and you take them off you’re suddenly 2 or 3 inches shorter, and they’ll catch on straight away…
Also, if you ask a girl out and she says yes etc etc would you feel like a bit of an imposter, not to mention a bit silly when she will [inevitably] discover you’re not all you seem.
It’s just darn annoying when my girl friends who are like 3 inches smaller than me normally dwarf me at discos etc!
Cheers ![]()

@Brae a man would wear them to make them self look better to the female gender by being taller. What happens when the shoes comes off? The same thing when a woman takes off her high heels. They both become significantly shorter.
Hey my little brother is 4’7 and he wants to look a taller. He is 10 years old right now and wants to know what shoes he could get so he can be taller. I told him that Nike Shox are good but I don’t know how big the heel is, he always doesn’t want it to be that noticeable. I also heard about elevator shoes but idk if they make them for him. Oh yeah I think his shoe size is 4 or 3 1/2 something around there.
Some of these shoes are make to hide the fact that they are elevator shoes and to look like a regular pear of shoes to deceive women. How can I tell if a pair of shoes a guy is wearing is elevator shoes?
and are they comfortable? do they really add as much height as they say?
There are some white ones that look JUST like adidas, and supposedly they add 2.8 inches to your height and they only cost about 70 bucks.
I wouldn’t wear it to school probably, because people already associate me with being short and it might look lame. But during the summer, or maybe if i ever move, i think im definitely going to wear elevator shoes consistently because i meannnn you know. haha
like, im basically a pick up artist and my biggest drawback is my height. I would have noticeably more success if my height increased, too! Then i have good looks, great personality, i know the game… and now I have the height factor too? Im going from 5’6 to about 5’9? Hell yes! Thank you come again yes please!
well, to the first girl, you were kind of stupid and didnt exactly read my question or answer it right… your first impression pretty much sucked…
but hey, at least you did 1 thing right- you definitely made me more enthusiastic to buy those shoes and lose that flaw! =)
I am a 19 year old male ; I am 5 feet 4 inches;
I heard elevator shoes have as much as 5 feet thick sole ; So they can make u look 5 feet taller & when I checked them on the internet , they dont look obvious if you wear a pant long enough to cover the extra part from behind ; After all , people will see the results !
So , is it easy to spot ??; Hurray , I will be like 5 feet 9 inches , !!
& pls answer SERIOUSLY !!!
LOL , I mean 5 inches
Ok, well i am a girl and I recently heard from a guy friend that he’d been discovered wearing elevator pump shoes by another friend. And it was embarassing for him, since he got some jibes from it
I never noticed anything different about his shoes. They were pretty normal to me (granted I don’t look at men’s shoes much, me being a chick)
And they were classy, dress shoes for work and stuff
But why are guys anal about hiding the fact that they wear pump shoes? Is it because they are embarassed about being short? Well girls wear heels to, amongst other reasons, appear taller, and that’s ok
But why is it embarassing for guys to wear heighened elevator shoes? They dun look so noticeable anyways
I am interested in adding an inch or two to my height and came across several sites for elevator shoes. The best looking ones I found are TOTTII brand on itallershoes.com.
Has anyone ever tried these or seen them? I am hesitant to buy them unless I can determine that they don’t look/feel weird or are too noticeable.
Please don’t respond with comments about insecurity or being happy with my height. I am 5’11 and would like to be around 6’0-6’1. (I realize the 2.8-3.2 inch gain is a bit of a marketing ploy as regular shoes give you about an inch to inch and a half gain)
