I am 13 year old girl and almost going to be 14 in August. I am 5′2 & 1/2, and I really want to grow a little over the summer.I have been checking and in the past month I grew 1/2 an inch. I have been drinking a lot of milk and calcium a exercising a little. I am going to exercise more to keep in shape. I know it depends on genetics on how tall I’m going to be. But do you think I might grow an inch at least?

I’m 18 years old and am at or about 6” 1′.

However, i am not satisfied with my height at all. my dream height would be 6” 3′ but im pretty sure that’s not gonna happen because of genetics and fact that im probably pretty much done growing. however, ill take any extra height i can get. even a quarter of an inch. ive heard of this idea of "growing taller naturally after puberty" but im not sure if this is just a scam or if there is some truth to this?

Now I know it mostly all about genetics but I think I still have a chance of growing because my uncle is the same height as my dad (5′8) and his wife is short and their kid turned out to be pretty tall so I know it’s possible to grow taller than your parents.

Anyways I’m 5′7 1/2 (5′8 with shoes on) and I would like to be at least grow another inch but I would really like to be 5′10 and up. I found some exercises that supposedly help you grow but I’m wondering what are the best vitamins to help support your growth?

I am 17 years old and at the moment I am 5′7 feet tall. Both my parents are 5′4. I have read a lot about increasing height and that its dependent on genetics. I just wanna ask if regular stretching and balanced diet can get me to 6 feet.
Please do suggest some of the things I should eat that may help me.

For eating properly, I mean eating foods with the nutrients necessary for growth, for sleeping I mean sleeping around 8-10 hours, and for exercising I just want to know if doing exercises like jogging and jump roping can help. I would also like to know if eating yogurt or six meals a day could help you grow taller or at least help you lose weight. Please don’t post any obvious information about growth, myths, or any biased or ignorant answers, such as "genetics is everything".

I am 5′11 or a fraction over in height and I am 20 but you know I really would not mind being a height like 6′2 or 6′4. Okay 6′4 is an insane goal to aim for if I wore lifts that would just make me look pathetic woulden’t it?

I know that genetics decides how tall we grow. But if a person already has good genes regarding height (all family members 5′7 + tall), what he/she should do to attain maximum height possible while growing like what exercises, how many hours o sleep, what food , etc?

okay so im 14, turning 15 in 2 months and couple of days. and i hate how im so short. im chinese btw. my mom is prettty tall 5′7. but my dad is hecka short, like 5′5 or 5′6 and i hate it because i take after my dad. we’re both socialbe, talkative, love sports, and hate school. so my parents are obviously both chinese. my mom’s dad was almost 6 but then my dad’s dad is like 5;7 and his mom isnt that tall either…like 5′3 or something but thats pretty good. so now on to me. i am only 5 ft and 3 cm and that sucksss! i grew like 1/2 inch between 8th and 9th grade. so i heard many things that sleep, food, and sports can make u grow taller. but isn’t it mostly genetics. so my question is how can i grow taler? i want to be at least 5 ft 1 inch by the itme im 15. but i dont think thats coming true..plz help. how can i grow taller???? and naturally…nothing like taking pills.

So im 5′2, (16 yrs) my parents are 5′3 and 5′6. Hi I just turned 16 and I am 5′6. Both my parents are short my moms 5′4 and my dad is 5′5. If your height is up to genetics, then is their still a possiblity I will grow to be about 5′10? My doctor told me I’ve only grown an inch from last year is that bad? Thankyou for your time.

my male cousin is fifteen years old and he’s 5′2". he’s growing very slowly and was told that based on genetics only, his estimated height would be 5′4"-5′5". I know that 70% of your heigh is based on your genes, and 30% is based on nutrition, exercise, etc. but how can you tap into that 30% and grow taller than your estimated height.

hi everyone. right now im 5/9 and i want to grow to be at least 6/2. so far i keep up a jump rope routine and i drink at least 2 glasses of milk. I’ve just turned 15 two months ago, and I’m at 1.57 – 1.58. Problem is, I really want to grow just a few inches taller, preferably to my maximum height, but I want to tone myself down. My upper body is okay, but my butt and my thighs are massive. Apparently, it’s genetics, but I still want to tone them down properly and grow taller.
