Grow Taller 4 Idiots

The Secret To Growing Taller By 3 Inches Or More In Just 6 Weeks! Regardless Of Your Age! You Can Still Increase Your Height, Even If You have Stopped Growing!  Read more!

I’m currently 5’8 at 17 and have a 4’11 mum and a 5’7 dad. I assume they shrunk a inch or two as they’re 50+.

You see, I want to be a high fashion male model but the requirements are high, minimum at about 5’11.

I’m from an asian ethinic background (Cambodian and Chinese) but I have been told I had tall grandparents, two uncles and a aunty who died in the Pol Pot War. I say this because my mum and and two surviving uncles were quite short (mum side, uncles about 5’6) compared to their siblings. Mum told me that the goodlooking people had to die etc Have no idea why? (my mum is just short, thankfully). I don’t want you guys to get too attached to this story but yes, I had uncles, aunties and grandparents around 5’10 to 6ft plus. This is just my mum side, I rarely talk to my dad as we bicker occasionally.

My shoe size is 11 ½ inches US which is awkwardly not proportioned to my height (dunno whether it’s a sign). I’ve never really had a growth spurt, I just gradually grew into my height. Mum said I was about 3ft when I was 2….

I’m just psyching myself out because I do think I will get upset if I don’t grow anymore.

Lately, I’ve been taking nature owns multivitamins to replace all my missing supplements and drinking milk and I do sleep 8 hours a night even on school nights.

Is there anyway to improve my chances on becoming taller, even though I might not?

As I assume the majority of users on WP are over 18, are there people who’ve had similar worries to me at my age and realised they actually grew taller? Like how tall were you at 17 and how tall are you currently?
P.S. As I’ve taken time to write my message, please don’t copy and from some other similar post but tell me what you think etc.

And don’t tell me things that I probably know… Such as the exact age when people stop growing

i am a 15 year old girl i have a HUGEEEE problem my dad is 6 ft tall mom is 5’5 my grandparents are also very tall but i am still 5’1 i am really sad and now even complexed i am using yoko height but i prefer not to take growth hormones as they have really bad side effects so i want to increase my height naturally can you help me by giving some advice how can i do that as i am extremely depressed my little brother who is 12 years old is currently 5’3 two inches taller than me and is still growing i am the shortest in my family there is no genetic reason as my parents as well as grandparents are all tall my parents used to give me alot of antibiotic medicines when i was a small child (both are dr.s) is this their side effect what should i do can you give me some advice Plzzz Thankx…

I’m 5’3 and I’m sick of being short! I really don’t believe growing is up to genetics because my teacher is taller than her dad and mom and grandparents from both sides! (According to her)

Oh I’m turning 15 soon does that lower my risk of having a growth spurt?

Ok. So I was wondering if eating white rice every day of the week affects your height? I am a 15 year old male (turned 15 two days ago), and I’m of Asian background. Ever since I was 12, and was told by a relative that white rice is completely stripped of nutrients during the processing stage, I’ve been lobbying for my parents to switch to brown rice. We did try that for a month starting from my 12th birthday, but then, one day, my mom stopped making it (my diet contains mostly rice with some side dishes – eg. meat or veggies), and abruptly switched back to white rice. When I asked her why she did that, she gave me a reply that I shouldn’t be so selfish and to think of other people as well. So, I naturally assumed that it was my grandparents who complained to her. Since they are elderly, I didn’t act like I cared. However, now that I’m fifteen and passed the major height-enhancing stage of life (12-15), I am barely 168 cm (around 5 feet 6 inches). My goal is to at least grow to be 180 cm. In my school, i’m the shortest in all my classes (including girls), and my parents keep on remarking on how tall "the handsome boy walking down the street is". My mom is 152 cm tall, and my dad 173 cm, but I found out that my genes allow me to have the potiential to reach 181 cm (All my cousins on my dad’s side are over 180 cm). But just yesterday, after coming home from a gym class and being so frustrated of my short stature (we played basketball), I once again, asked my grandfather, (who’d been trying to help me grow taller) why he had complained about the white rice and potienitally stunt my growth. He then told me that it was my sister (who is 5 years younger than me) who was the one that complained- everyone else in the family was OK with it. So now I’m majorly pissed at my sister, because if it wasn’t for her big mouth (she is honestly the most picky eater I’ve ever met), then I would have gotten the nutrients that I should have during the most crucial stages of my growing life. After we had a row (my sister and I), it was agreed that I was cooked a seperate serving of brown rice, starting tonight. However, my question is, will this do any good, since I’m already 15? (I’ve been in sports since I was little, so I know it was the food that I ate from 12-15 which affected my height). Again, my goal is 180 cm. Right now, I seriously want to punch my sister out, because it was her who caused me to have to endure this torture! And I really do want to be tall! (PS. I usually eat rice for both breakfast and dinner, with rice filling most of my bowl and a bit of meat and veggies)
Excuse me? Weight loss? I only weigh 105 lbs!

I’m 16 and have a bit of a problem with guys around my school. The problem is mainly my size. I remember hearing that the average height of men in the U.S is like 5’10 or so, and I’m only 5’8, almost 5’9 in shoes. There’s more 5’11 and 6’0 guys at my school than guys between 5’4 and 5’10. I’m not exactly short, but not tall by a long shot. I started going to the gym a few weeks ago, gained about 3lbs of muscle, then got a new medicine that suppresses my appetite so that if I don’t force myself to eat I don’t. Because of that I’ve already lost about 2lbs since Wednesday, which may end up making me lose about 15lbs. I’m not exactly built, but I have lean muscles and am a lot stronger than I look.

Unfortunately most guys don’t know that, and constantly underestimate, insult, and ‘pick’ on me. I’m not worried about a fight, as I’ve had 5 years of martial arts and an unfortunately violent pre-teen experience in which I won exponentially more fights than I lost. However, since I stopped fighting period in the middle of my freshman year, most of my classmates don’t know that I am actually have a bit of a flair for fighting. But I really don’t want to fight anymore, and since I don’t do anything wrong (never been late for a class without having been held behind by my last teacher to finish work ((which is excused)), never drank, smoked, done drugs, disobeyed my parents, argued with adults, etc) other guys assume that I’m weak and a coward. Even smaller younger punks assume they can beat me up with ease.

As my family is well off (dad owns his own company and makes ,000 a year) I’ve never actually needed to do work, so I don’t exactly have large muscles. Even though I hit the gym nearly daily (1 or 2 days off a week for recovery) I look more lean than large. Even if I started bodybuilding, I wouldn’t look too intimidating due to my size. I have a medium frame and am doubtful to grow any taller (already taller than my dad, mom, older brother, perhaps my grandparents ((haven’t seen them in years)), etc). My dad’s side of the family has a very large frame, even though they aren’t particularly tall, and my mom’s has more of a lean slender frame. I have a mix (medium), and despite being taller than my dad, am no where near as strong or muscular (ignoring the beer gut) as he is. And I’m nearly 4 inches taller than my mom. My older brother has her frame, and is slight and a slight bit shorter than me, but much more lean. Sad thing is my little brother seems to have Dad’s frame, and is already taller and stronger than I was at his age- he’ll probably be taller and stronger than me by the time he’s 18. I don’t exactly have the ability to be large, as I’m naturally lean and built more for sprinting speed (nearly 17 mph last time I was checked) than muscle strength.

How can I be more intimidating looking to prevent a fight? I don’t exactly think it’s my attitude (I’m extremely confident all of the time) but due to my size other guys try to take advantage of me and insult me constantly. As much as I wish I could be 6’0 or 6’1, I have no family members anywhere near that tall (except one uncle, 5’11) and I don’t think a guy that’s 5’9, potentially 5’10 if I’m lucky and still grow (which I doubt), even a bodybuilder that size can be intimidating enough to stop a fight. Help?

Srry for the long explanation lol

i really want to grow atleast 3-4 more inches. im 15 and only 5:4. im already taller than both my mom and dad and both grandparents. i been researching a little and i found some videos and some info. Can stretching and drinking alot of milk help me grow them extra inches? The doctor said i was done growing im pretty sure but i just want to grow a little taller. So is there anything to help me achieve this like stretches and milk?
thanks
thanks guys but i heard stretching helps?

I’ve read several questions on here about growing taller and I feel that I can provide a bit more details, so maybe I’ll get a better answer than other people. I’m a 15 year old female (16 in December) and I’m currently 5’2". My mom is 5’7" and my dad 5’9". My grandparents and all of my aunts and uncles are around that height too. I never really had a "growth spurt". I just grew about 2 inches over a period of 3 years. No fast growth…I have several close female friends that are the same height as me, but they all wear a size 4-6 in shoes and they’ve all had a growth spurt. I’m the only one that’s 5’2" and wears a size 8 shoe. My taller friends all have bigger size shoes. One of my female friends is 6 months younger than me, wears a size 11 and is 5’11". I’ve always heard that when you wear a bigger size shoe, you will be taller, which is the case with all of my friends. My question is will I grow any taller? Nobody in my family is this short and I really hate being the shortest.

This may seem an extremely stupid answer but i have been asking myself this question for a while. First of all I am under 18. i am 1,64 m and i want to be atleast 1,70 m i would be happy with 1,69m is there any way that i can grow taller? exercises calcium stuff anything that would help. i do ballet and modern dance now so i am always doing jumps and changements and all the ballet stuff. i also do yoga so i am always stretching but is there anyway that i can see results i don’t care how long it takes.

please don’t answer high heels because honestly i tried it. makes me feel taller but at the end of the day i feel short.

serious answers please
i am just tuned 15 a couple of days ago. and most of the people from my mother’s side of the family are pretty tall. my mother’s brother is 1’90 her other brother is 1’85 and her sister is 1’70 both my grandparents are tall from both sides of the family. my mother is the only short one in the whole family 1’64 and my dad i 1’75 m

since i was a little girl whenever i went to my pediatrician and he saw the booklets to see if i was growing well he always said that i was really above average hight at the ages he saw me.
