I have this plant. It’s not a shrub, tree, plant really. It’s very hard to explain.
It is growing along my fence. It spreads. It sort of grows in stalks. The stalks and stems are greenish purplish looking. The leaves are similar looking to poison sumac. The flowers look very similar to poison hemlock.
I have no idea what this is or if it is poisonous.
It is driving me insane.
I have looked online for over an hour searching.
It is very tall like 10 to 12 feet.
It is blooming right now. large flower clusters vanilla white in color.
It is very easy to cut through. I just don’t like to mess with it cuz I don’t know what it is.
I have seen it in several other areas of my town growing naturally.
What is is???
Also it is fast growing and there is no telling how tall it gets. My husband usually cuts it down throughout the spring and summer.
We would remove it completely but it is growing between our chain fence and our neighbors wooden fence…ugh….
Also the flowers only form above the plant not throughout so it’s sort of like snow covered looking if that makes sense.
I am pretty sure i have a phalaenopsis orchid. It had very beautiful blooms and strong healthy leaves when i bought it. It’s been a few months. I was wondering. If i was to cut the stalk just above the bulbs will the orchid naturally grow back out.
Just some info: the leaves are still nice, however the flower spike is almost as if it’s dried out, or can’t get any water. it’s a tannish color with hollowness. It’s about 2 1/2 feet tall in a slender pot. I water twice a week in the evening, and once a week in the winter.
hey i have a slow growing marijuana seedling ( it is winter though and im growing it naturally ), the dirt is quite compacted because i pushed it down a bit before i planted the plant in it, so it isnt loose dirt. is it bad if the dirt is to compact? can it cause it to grow slowly? and also this seedling is very short but had 2 leaves and 2 more smaller ones coming up now, and id about just over an inch tall. thanks ![]()

My bamboo has a lot of leaves for each stalk/shaft but the actual plant is not growing any taller. I’ve had it for about a year and recently moved it to a larger container (a metal one, which i’m wondering was a bad choice). The tips of the leaves are turning yellow/brown. I keep the water level to about just below the top of the rocks in the container.
