I am 14, at 5′10. I need to become taller, my goal is about 6′3/ don’t worry, my dad is still taller than me, even tho he’s almost 60. But I do lift weights at the gym. I dont do anything heavy,, like benchpresses. I do pulldowns, crunches, chests, work out my legs, and i dont do anything that requires my legs to lift up my weight. I also take calcium supplements(vitamin d included), get around 7 hours of sleep, and i do strewching excercises hoping i will get taller. Will any of this help me grow? I know most of you will say ill get taller naturally, but not as tall as i want to be. will it help? thanks in advance!

I’m a few weeks off from being 14 and I’m currently 5,5". I’m an aspiring model so I really want to grow taller. All my friends say I’m quite skinny but I have about a 28 inch waist and 36 inch hips. Will I stretch out and become skinnier as I get taller or will I get taller at all? I’m worried that all models are naturally skinny but I’m not. I think I’m naturally slim but that’s about it. I also feel my legs aren’t long enough. Is 5,5" tall enough at my age?

Me and my brother are 18 years old. I have been listening to a hypnosis cd for 6 months for growing taller 4x a day everyday. My brother visited a pro hypnotherapist 12 sessions in 2 months. He grew 2 inches and I only grew .5 inches. My growth was all in my lower legs. My measurement is 100% so is my brothers. Are hypnotherapist that much better?

I am a male ballet dancer about 5′10+1/2 and 16 years old. I really want to be 6′ tall at least and at most 6′2" my doctor says I’m slowing down but I really want to be 6′ tall. My brother is 6′ tall and my dad is about 5′11+1/2", I have a proportionate body too, my legs are quite long and my torso is long too with well sized arms, but I want my legs to be longer, any ideas? Im currently 16 years old and today at the hospital, i was told that i need leg lengthening surgery on one of my legs because it is between 2 and 3 centimeters shorter than the other.
There are two factors which are really putting me off of the surgery, the first being the amount of recovery time. I play a lot of sport and was told i would be out of action for an average of six months.

The thing i really want to know, is how pain full it is, when the left is actually being lengthened, i have heard that a dial on the brace is turned possibly each day, to stretch the leg by a millimeter maybe?

I realldon’tnt do very well with pain, small things really feel like agony to me! Perhaps you can say im a wimp lol but its true!

I would just like someone to be honest and tell me how pain full actually turning of the dial is each time

just a thought. I’ve always wondered why they don’t do it that way, it seems a lot safer and lot a less painful!

for example, if i run about 5 miles a day will it help me grow taller? if i stretch my legs and arms? what about weight lifting ? i heard working will make u not grow to your potential height?

I brisk walk everyday for an hour & do some lower ab workouts like pulling my legs (bended) to my chest then making them straight again, vertical.

I just heard that you could grow taller by exercising & stuff.

I.e. when the bones are cut and pulled apart so they grow back together and the person gains inches – would their legs look out of proportion with the rest of their body? I’ve been reading this website where it claims that methods such as weights on legs while sitting, tapping knee bones, etc. can make you grow a couple inches taller. Is this true?

at the beginning of eighth grade i grew some but then i stopped, i am now 5′3 1/2 . i wanna be 5′5 by the end of the summer . my mom is 5′0 or 4′9 and my dad is 5′6 . ive heard if you sleep with your legs straight it might make you grow taller . i go to sleep at 9 and wake up around 7 every day (and its summer) . i eat healthy . and i have healthy desserts . i almost have milk everyday (not a glass but calcium, like cheese sometimes, or low fat icecream, i dont really like milk )

i think sleeping with your legs straight really worked for me, i did it for 2 months and i grew .
