I’m a 14 year old girl and I am 5’6”. I would like to be 5’9"-5’10". My mom is 5’4” and my dad is 6’1”. I started my period a little less than a year ago, and I think that will affect my growth. I exercise a lot, including some weights. I want a way to grow taller fast and naturally. Thank you in advance!

my mom said that i shouldn’t diet because my period come and that mean i am starting to grow taller and when i eat alot when i grow taller will i become a skinny or average body.

have grown regularly throughout my life. I had really only one big growth spurt when I was about 13 and I have grown maybe about 1-2 inches a year. My doctor did not even think I would be as tall as I am now because my parents are both short, but now he says I may still have another 1-2 inches still to go. My shoe size also goes up a half size every year and a half. My brother is 25 and about 5’10” without shoes and he did not stop growing until he was 21, but my sister is 24 and 5’9”. My father was about 5’7” and my mom is 5’4”. My fathers side of the family is very short, but my mother’s side is huge. Her uncles were all 6’3” +. I am curious about how much taller I can grow. I only shave about once a week, I am starting to notice chest hair and my voice is starting to change, but I still look like I am only 15 or 16 (my age). So am I done or how much do I have to go? Can I reach at least 6’0”? Please answer!!!

I’m 16, turning 17 in April and i’m 5"6
I’m thinking of majorly switching my lifestyle up cos i feel like i can still grow alot more cos my dad is 5"5 and so is my mom, but males on my mom’s side are GIANTS.
And my brother, who took most of my mom’s genes, just turned 15 this month and is 5"5! so he’s definitely gonna be tall when he’s around my age lol.
Well i have a high metabolism, I dont always smoke, but occasionally, I drink occasionally too, i never sleep early, i on average get like 4 or 5 hours of sleep everyday, I play basketball, but only once a week, during gym class in school, and i have really long legs but a short torso, i wear size 32 length trousers (and i’m a boy btw, i’m aware that most girls have naturally long legs) and really long hands(i can stand up straight and touch the top of my knee caps easily lol)
So this is my plan
I will make my sleep pattern better, having at least 8-9 hours of sleep each day, even on weekends.
I will have all 3 aquare meals each day, but what times will it be best for me to have those meals so that the nutrients will help me achieve maximum growth? Also, what kind of meals should i have? more protein? more carbs ? i dont know lol, please tell me
I will stop smoking, i might have a ciggarrete maybe every once in like a month or something, when i go to parties or something
^^ Same for drinking
I’m gonna become an avid swimmer as i hear swimming helps so i’ll go swimming for about an hour at least 5 times a week. What times would be most effective for me to swim to achieve maximum growth? p.s the swimming pool closes at 8 on weekdays and at 6 on weekends. And what strokes should i do to achieve maximum height, HGH secretion and all that?

I’m a 17 year old Asian male who only stands at 4’11.
My dad is 5’1 mom is 4’9, my older brother is 5’3, and my uncles are all taller than 5’1.
I’d do anything to get taller and I seriously doubt I’ll grow any longer because I used rarely eat lunch at school during jr. high school and some of my highschool years. I only started eating lunch this year. I don’t think I get adequate sleep either so I think it’s my fault that I’m this short.
Anyway I want to look taller by buying these shoes that would make me look like I’m 5’4. Are they worth buying???
Well I have to questions that don’t really relate to one another. Feel free to answer only one.
So…
1. I’m and a 14 year old girl at 5 feet. Almost 5 foot 1, and in the past I may have stunted my growth due to over excercise and over healthy eating. I know that sounds odd. In 6th grade for a month i didn’t eat any sweets, and never ate after five pm. But i lost like 13 pounds that month. I may have stunted my growth with my unintentional diet. (i had like vinegar with like everything too btw) My mom is about 5 foot 3 and my dad is 5 foot 10 will i still grow enough to become about 5 foot 5 or taller?
2. My second question has to do with hair. I have naturally curly hair, but use those hot curlers in my hair to make them perfect and so that all the curls look even. I want to have those same great curls but i don’t want to damage my hair. Any suggestions?
Oh and by the way i started my period in 5th grade if that changes anything.

And I’m also tall, so I would be able to handle them. (I’m 5’5).

Hi, I am 17 years of age, just turned that age a month ago, I am pretty short for a male and I’m very concerned about my height, I am 5"6 which i consider really short and everyone else seems taller then me in Canada. I wish to grow at least 2 more inches to be at average height for males and was wondering if I still have a chance to grow taller. I started taking height seriously when i realized all my friends were taller then me.So what I am doing is doing alot of exercises like stretching, taking whey protein shake, jumping and stretching more.
Is there a sign that I am still under puberty? you could say that I started quite early say when i was in grade 6 or 7 in middle school. I Still do have acne and still do get them, but not on my face area, but on my back, and a little bit on top of my forehead. I do shave and have pubic hair. Although my armpit hair is still un-even, such as my right armpit hair is longer and have more hair the my left armpit.
Also I didn’t experience any growth, not that i know of although i did grew couple more cm, during this year so Am i really doomed?

okay, I just turned 13 in may. i dont know how short I am maybe like 4"11 or soo or higher. What are some specific foods and excersize can I eat and do to make me grow taller this summer? I know this is the stupidest question ever, but I had to ask. I’m 14 and 5’3". And my mom is 5’5" 1/2, my dad is 5’8". I’ve been this tall for like 2 years, and my Dr. told me if I don’t grow by my next check-up… I’m done. So far, I’m not seeing any improvements. I heard of HGH (Human Growth Hormones), but apparently, they’re really risky. Also, I heard of a "natural way". Like, taking vitamins, exercising, getting enough sleep, and crap like that? First of all, does that stuff really work or is it just BS? Cause I don’t exercise, take vitamins, and I barely, I mean barely get enough sleep. And I’ve been drinking coffee (regularly) ever since I was 9 – 10 years old. Am I so short because of that? In addition, I heard of stretching posed and exercises especially for growing taller. Do those work? Anyways, how can I grow taller? Thanks!
