I am a girl and want to know exercises to keep fit and improve posture and height but will not make me flat chested. Any one know?
i am 16, i am 5ft 9.7 inches, my dad is 5 10 and my mom is 5 6, i grew about 1 inch in the past year!
all my uncles are over 6ft
i want to grow about 3 inches more
what exercises would help for posture or to stretch your bones

would i be able to grow to 5’9" or 5’10"? im 14 years old and my mom is 5’3" and my dad is 6’2". im 5’7" right now; if i eat a lot of protein and calcium, and aimed for perfect posture as well as take vitamins and drink a lot of water, how tall could i get?
hi, im 15 years old. 16 in 5 month time. at the moment i am 5ft 3/4. ive recently grown an inch or so. i weigh about 7 stone 5. or something. so im ok for my height. its just, when im out with my friends they are all so much taller than me, like 5ft 6/7. is the average. and the tallest wud go up to 6ft + tallest at 6ft 5.
then, i have other friends, these friends are about 2 years younger than me, like 13 turning 14. and they are around the same height as me. yet for one who is 5ft 8. im just so worried about my height. i feel like the odd one out. and a need to be tall, my family are all about average, but every time i see them I NEED to be taller. i try so hard to improve my posture etc. but im like up to 4 inches off them. im taller than most of the women tho, but i want to be a man. it worries me alot. my mum says i will be the same as my father, who is 5ft 9. my mum is about 5ft 2/3.
another thing, recently i took an excersise plan to increase my height, it may sound weird but, ive actually grown an inch in a space of 2 week of the exercise, it has increased my posture alot. and people have noticed a change. its just soo annoying. is there anything i can do to improve height quicker or something? naturally

I’m 18 (turning 19 this August), overweight according to my BMI and only 170.3cm. Will I grow anymore if I lose weight and exercise? I’ve imrpoved my posture and got 1 inch…I’m a male btw.

my parents are normal, or idk. mom is 5’2 and dad’s 5’6. i know i have gone through their height already but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
My mother’s family is tall, not my father’s.
i hear lots of people say "it’s all in your genes, if your parents are short then you probably will too", well get this- it’s not ONLY genes, it’s 60% genetics and 40% diet/health.

2. I drink loads of milk !! (lots of calcium in it.)
3. I do stretch-exercises every day for 15 minutes, (i will play basketball now and then on the summer)
4. I have the best posture ever! the best one in my family, no one in my family has a good posture… so that’s a BIG plus for me.
5. I sleep alot, 8-9 hours a day, sometimes take naps for 30 min a day.
So, i do these things and i hope they pay off. I’m gonna try this out all the way to summer, and then see if i have changed.

My parents never had a good lifestyle and diet when they were young, so they never got good vitamins in their body. Who knows what height-hormones was hiding behind those bodies. but I on the other hand have a good lifestyle so far. I do my best and work my *** off to get the best results.

my diet is perfect! [I eat 6 small meals per day]
my posture is awesome.
i drink LOADS of milk! and stretch 3 times a day for 5minutes, and i sleep alot, 8-9 hours a day.
i eat Veggies,Cheese,Fruits exc. no junk food.. no alcohol, no smoking. im easily doing everything to gain those extra inches ![]()

Hey…I came across this website before which showed how to get taller by a few inches in three months.
It explained very nicely abut nutrition, sleeping posture and other thing. The exercises started according to weeks. Like in week one, there are the warm up exercises you must do first. Week two: Blah Blah. They also explained about your sleeping posture. However, I do not seem to find that site.
In fact, I go the site url off Yahoo!answers.
The one who answered said something about him being 24 years old and got taller. He even gave an example in his answer saying that "Look at the archers…their one arm is longer than the other. Similarly, growing taller is practicing various exercises,"

Im a male and 16 and im currently 5′ 9".Ive been 5"9 for the past two years. My doctor told me i was going to grow to be 6"6 and then she said i was going to be 6 foot and she keeps changing her answer so i dont know whether to trust her. I get 8 hours of sleep everyday, drink 2 cups of milk everyday, exercise since im on my school wrestling team everyday and have a firm posture as well. Any other tips to give me that will really help me grow past 6 feet fast and naturally?
Any ideas of how my sitting, standing, and lying posture do not stunt my growth and may help to increase my height?
For the past 3 years I have been wearing almost on a daily basis 1.5 – 2” shoe insters/lifts
They have been going in my shoes so they are discreet and for the most part I wear pants over my legs so nobody really could tell..
However, do you think it will have a big long term affect on my posture or on my stance or on my legs, etc.?
Im pretty tall (5’10) and I have almost always been the tallest girl I have known for all my life growing up and I think I may have been insecure about it so I started hunching. All my friends are short too so especially when I walk besides them I tend to hunch. Now I dont mind that Im tall but I notice I lean foward naturally, how can I improve my posture.
