I need to look taller for Homecoming tommrow! i need at least 2 inches. Please give me a simple way to make homemade shoe lifts or something to make me look taller asap. the best chosen answer will get more points than usual

If you do not know what a shoe lift is, it is a heel that guys can put in their shoe to make them look an inch of two taller.

Now I am a guy and I’m about to see a girl that I’ve known online for a few years and she is VERY subconscious about her height (She thinks I’m 5"10 but I’m really 5"8. The same height as her) but I’m going to wear a 2 inch shoe lift to make her feel more comfortable.

Now do you think it’s a big deal if a guy wears shoe lifts? I mean if you really like the guy but feel a bit insecure about being seen the same height or shorter than him then wouldn’t you not mind him wearing shoe lifts in public?

What are your opinions?

I am asian so we grow tall fast but for some reason i am really really short. I feel like a dork when I’m walking with my friends, and I don’t want to but Shoe Lifts or anything like that, I want to be tall naturally. Do you have any tips? please? I just really don’t know what to do in this situation, even if u say "eat vegetable" or nutrients or anything like that, it will take FOREVER to be taller..

A medical mistake stunted my bone growth when I was an adolescent, dropping my height percentile by 25 percent. As a result, I’m a little insecure about my height, causing me to wear lifts. I’m just wondering if there are any physical drawbacks to wearing shoe lifts such as back problems or risk of tendon-tearing in my legs. I imagine the risks wouldn’t be as bad as women who wear heels, but I dunno.

I’m 5’7 and I was looking to add around 2 inches to my height.Do shoe lifts work and are they comfortable?

I’m worried that if I wear shoe lifts, my arms wont look in proportion to my legs etc. But I really like the extra height these lifts give me.

I read in a Walt Disney World guidebook that you can buy lifts for kids shoes so they can grow one inch to meet the height requirement for rides. Does this work? Where do you buy shoe lifts?
In the guidebook it said adding a 1/2 inch won’t make that much difference. Disney over compensates for safety. What if you have a short child who can never ride the rides until they are in junior high??
Also…how is this different than when people have their kids where heeleys or high heeled shoes?

My main reason is because my son is right at the height requirement. At the doctors he is an inch past. Each time we go he get’s re-measured. He rode one ride and then a month later when he wasn’t standing up straight they almost didn’t let him on. Then after I told them he had already been on several times in the last month they let him on. I have never seen them have anyone take their shoes off. I know they don’t count hair though. I know someone who wore her mom’s shoes with heals to get on and they allowed her on.
At Disneyland they allow heelies. They told kids to make sure they are kept inside for the Star Wars show.
