Now I don’t have children yet, only 18 but I was wondering if it would be possible. You see my dad is 5’11 and I am 5’6 but my stunted height is not genetic; ever since I was young I would constantly eat junk food and rarely have anything but rice and soup; candy, soda, you name it I probably had it. So would it be possibly for my children to be taller than me if they exercised, had a healthy diet, and stretched regularly?

parents are both short, they are like 5’2 and 5’6.
1. eat healthy as always (i stay away from junk food and soda exc.) dont smoke/alcohol
2. I drink lots of milk (lots of calcium in it.)
3. I do stretch-exercises every day for 15 minutes. Day, Midday and Night.
(i will play basketball now and then on the summer)
4. I have the best posture ever!
5. I sleep alot, 8-9 hours a day
I know i have posted a same thread like this one before on this forum, but i didn’t get good answers. so lets try again..

What height can I reach by the time i’ve turned 21? Just guess from your mind.

I’m 17 and 2 months ( just turned 17 ) – male – and i wanna reach 6′ or higher.
my parents are normal, or idk. mom is 5’2 and dad’s 5’6. i know i have gone through their height already but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
My mother’s family is tall, not my father’s.
i hear lots of people say "it’s all in your genes, if your parents are short then you probably will too", well get this- it’s not ONLY genes, it’s 60% genetics and 40% diet/health.
1. eat healthy as always (i stay away from junk food and soda exc.)
2. I drink loads of milk !! (lots of calcium in it.)
3. I do stretch-exercises every day for 15 minutes, (i will play basketball now and then on the summer)
4. I have the best posture ever! the best one in my family, no one in my family has a good posture… so that’s a BIG plus for me.
5. I sleep alot, 8-9 hours a day, sometimes take naps for 30 min a day.

So, i do these things and i hope they pay off. I’m gonna try this out all the way to summer, and then see if i have changed.

My parents never had a good lifestyle and diet when they were young, so they never got good vitamins in their body. Who knows what height-hormones was hiding behind those bodies. but I on the other hand have a good lifestyle so far. I do my best and work my *** off to get the best results.

-cold shower
-36 sit ups/ 18 crunches
-stretches from this site http://www.walktallshoes.com/grow-taller-exercises.html
-breakfast
- same thing at night minus the shower and breakfast, instead of breakfast dinner
——-extra stuff
-lots of vegetable / fruit for snacks
-no soda
-no white bread
-no pasta
-lots of fluids
-fast food once a week
-eat slowly/chew a lot

I just love the new food. Right now I am 5’1" and want to be 6’1" becoming and NHL hockey player. I don’t want to grow talller using growth stimulant drugs or doing surgery. im 13 going to turn 14 in a couple of months and im 5 and 1 1/2 inches how do i grow taller? i drink soda alot i use to drink it 5 times a week. my dads close to 6 foot and my mom is barely 5 feet so how tall would i be

im 15. i’m 5′ 6". i would like to be at least around 5′ 10" – 6′ but i know genetics is pretty much the only way ill get that tall and considering the fact that im already taller than both of my parents, it’s gonna be really hard. im taller than my dad by 3" and my mom by around 4"-5".
i dont drink much caffeine of soda at all. i exercise daily by going to the gym or occasionally jogging about 6 miles. i do lift weights and i know that people say it stunts your growth but i want to for sports next year. please any advice to grow taller? i dont have to grow fast but just gradually.

Alright, I’m 13 years old (turning 14 in May) and I am pretty short for my age. I don’t know exactly what height I am but I was wondering what I can do to help me naturally grow taller. I am pretty much addicted to Pepsi and I have been trying to cut down on that lately. Does drinking a lot of Soda/Caffeine really stunt my growth? And what kind of things can I eat or drink to help me grow taller?
Oh, and what about caffeine free pop? Such as sprite? Would it still affect my growth then?
