Growing up, "Jack" was always a lot smaller than the other boys, so naturally they teased and beat up on him. He had a friend named "Jane" who was also ostracized because she’s a bastard. So she and Jack become friends.
When they’re 11, their village is attacked. Jane is able to get away, but she sees Jack about to get hurt by an invaders, so she hits the invader from behind with a rock.
As a result, the invader turns on Jane which results in her nearly dying and becoming permanently disfigured.
Jack is off by himself a couple days after the attack, when he’s approached by a stranger that shows him a mirror. In the mirror, he sees an older Jane being excuted for a crime she didn’t commit.
The man tells Jack he can give him the power to stop it, if Jack agrees to serve in his hellish army.
Jack agrees and becomes stronger, taller, faster and becomes highly by the people of his village, but whenever the man calls on him, he becomes a hideous creature that has to kill whoever his master says.
He hates doing it and becomes emotionless and cold, but can tell no one why. He continues to kill though because he wants to retain his strength so when Jane reaches 17, he’ll be able to protect her.
realistic or no?
edit: it should say highly respected by the people in his village. they actually make Jack the leader of their own village Army
da: it’s actually young adult fiction, so that works for me.
chris: LMAO, village computer?! you’re hilarious ![]()
