I am 15, almost 16 and I am 5’5 1/2, maybe 5’6. I am a late bloomer, I didn’t get my period until 14 and my dad grew until he was 21. Im not sure about my mom, 18 I think. My mom is 5’7 and my dad is 5’10. I’m 100% polish so the polish build is naturally tall and lean, I weigh something like 105 pounds. Anyways, I want to model (I’ve been to several agencies that said I have the perfect face/body type except for my height and though I’ve landed a few jobs I can’t get anything serious unless I grow. Just to let you know, height genetics in my family are quite varied. Its like their more environment influenced than gene influenced. For example my cousins from my moms side are both over 6 foot (an one is a girl) but their parents are pretty short. My cousins from my dads side didn’t follow their parents height at all. My aunts kids for example are all over 6 foot, the tallest is 6’4 and theyre guys by the way but they are all very athletic. Their mom is 5’3 and their dad is 5’7 but theyre giants. On the other hand my uncles kids (girls) are petite. They are 5’1 and 5’4 but their mom and dad are both 5’9. However they are not very athletic. I’ll do anything that has to do with excercise except swimming because I don’t have regular access to a pool. I’ll also take pills/supplements. As far as diet goes I need recommendations that will also keep me skinny because ofcourse that is essential to modeling. My guess is lean meats, fish, and vegetables but I could be wrong. My goal is to be atleast 5’8 so thats only 2 more inches but idealy I’d like to be 5’10. I’ve heard that 4 inches is possible, especially when done at a young age and I have atleast 3 years before my growth plates fuse. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Oh also, if its at all possible I’d like to get to 5’8 in one year because thats when I get my braces off and I can restart modeling. Thanks!! :)
Just to clarify: by pills I meant vitamins like calcium and stuff. Will that help?

I’m a 14 year old boy, and I’m 5’2.5 . I turned 14 on January 13. Both my parents aren’t that tall. Will I still grow taller? Or what can I do to grow taller? (diet, exercise, etc.) Btw I do not eat vegetables. Only some fruits. What vegetables should I start eating, or other things I could eat because I do not eat vegetables ?

I’m a girl & I am about 13 years old.
I’m already starting puberty [I just recently started my period about 2 months ago]
I heard that when you get your period, you’re going to grow taller & along with some other body changes.

But the thing is, I don’t get why I’m still so short.
I’m only 4’9 yet I weigh 89 pounds
To me & my family, that’s not really good
At school during P.E, I run 2-3 laps (cross country and a mile too) around the track for about an hour
everyday.
I’ve cut down on my meat too, (trying not to eat too much) & eat more healthy stuff like vegetables, fruits, yogurt, but mostly a little snack/junk food D:

Yet I’m still not growing much. Is there any explanations for this? & any advice on what I can do to help me grow taller soon? I want to be at least 5’1 by the end of this year

Hi, I’m turning 14 soon in a few months. I play the center position for basketball which requires height. I’m currently 6 foot and taller than almost all my friends. I want to try and and grow to at least 6’10 so I can continue playing center in my future teams when I’m older.

I would like to know the chances of me reaching 6’10

My Father is 5’8, Mother is 5’7.
I always get atleast 1-2 hours of exercise per day
I eat alot of foods rich in protein and calcium.
I eat plenty of fruit but not as many vegetables
I will be 14 in a few months

So theres a few things I would like to know:
1-Is it possible for me to even reach 6’10?
2-If it is possible, what are my odds of reaching 6’10?
3-What can I do to ensure I grow to my full potential?

Ok, so I just turned 15 a few days ago (gr. 10) and I’m 5’6 without shoes on. I’m a guy btw. I want to know how tall I will grow.

My dad is 5’10 and a half. Hes 176cm tall

My mom is 5’3

My mom’s father is 6’0 and my mom’s brother is 6’0

My dad’s sisters are around 5’7-8 and my dad’s brothers are 5’11

My dad grew really late. He grew 2-3 inches when he was 18-20. I saw a picture of him, he was around 5’6 in high school.

My dad’s side cousins (who are in their 20s) are 6’6”(seriously hes tall as a freak, he also is a pro golf player), and 6’1”. I have a cousin who is the same age as me and the last time we met which was in the summer he was 1 cm taller than me.

My mom side has only one cousin and shes a girl ( if you need to know shes like 5’4 and shes 16)

So, I’m like the 4th shortest guy in my grade (theres 55 guys in my grade). And i’m the same height as a guy who’s parents are (5’7 and 5’0).

I sleep aroudn 61/2- 71/2 hours a day.

I drink choclate milk in random bursts (like 1 week i’ll drink a lot and the next week i’ll drink very little)

I’ll admit i don’t eat vegetables. my parents pampered me when i was a kid so they never made me eat my vegetables and now i hate vegetables. (i’m trying to start eat vegetables, like carrots and celery in my dinner (but this is still not often, I go many days without eating a single vegetable)

I am stressed. I go to a super competitive highschool and quite a few of the students sleep 6 hours a day or less. we have a lot of hw and projects and the like. (95% of our student body gets 90% or higher percentile on all sections of the SAT and PSAT)

I don’t really know why i’m so stressed about my height. it also doesn’t help that i’m one of the shortest guys in the grade and even my friends who used to be the same height as me are shooting up.

So, if you actually know how tall people grow and you can enter this data into the brain of yours just attempt to give me an estimate of how tall I will grow.

P.S. I heard basketball makes you grow taller by jumping. I don’t play basketball mainly becasue i’m so short, but i want to know if its true. If there are any suggestions that people do that help them gain height (no pills or surgery) I would appreciate it.

My kids are 9 and 7. it seems like they are growing slowly. I wonder what specific vitamin to give them to help them grow taller. They were of average height and weight when they were younger, but now, specially my 9 yr. old son, seems to grow slow. They usually eat vegetables and fish, and just small amount of meat, drinks soya most of the time than milk. Am I giving them right kinds of food?

How much taller will I grow?

My parents were 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 7 when they were married. I was born 22.5 inches long and I’m 5 days from being 18 years old now and I am now 5 foot 9 (five foot nine). I took ritalin when I was young until I was 13. I jog 5 miles every day. I’m 170 pounds. My feet are both 11.5 inches long. I eat regularly, breakfast, lunch and dinner (I eat a variety of meats and vegetables, 5 pounds of food on average). I have 6 percent body fat. One more fact: I got my height measured by the doctor and she said that I grew 1/2 of an inch taller in 3 months.

How do i grow taller naturally? Like am i suppose to eat a certain amount of vegetables a day? or what?

Im 13, and im 5’1 right now, in grade 7.
I currently drink 507ML of chocolate milk every day, if that counts as Calcium, but i do not diet , because i am currently about 93 lbs.

My son is 5’5, he realize’s that he still got’s a couple of years to grow but he still wants to find some way’s to grow taller. Is there any way to grow the min. of 2 inches. If possible, can give response such as ex. eating vegetables, chin ups, biking and so on. If you all would really look in this I will muchly apperciate!

I’m a 19 year old male. I’m 5’11. I’ve actually been thinking about going on a diet that is eating only fruits, veggies, and to a much lesser extent meat. The thing is, I’m comfortable with my height right now and I so not want to grow any taller. I haven’t grown since I was about 18, or so they say, but since I’ve been the same height. I just don’t want to be any taller than I am already. So is eating more vegetables going to increase my height? Eating more fruits?
