What age is a dog full grown? I have a mutt who is over a year and she still seems to get a little taller?
Just curious.
My Jack russell mix is 14 months old and it seems she grew a little over the last month.
But I thought small dogs were done growing between 6 months and a year.
Anyways she is a very short dog and never could put her paws up on the counter so she either got taller or longer.
Here is her picture

She is 22 pounds right now (she has weighed the same roughly since she was 11 months old)
Here is a side view

So at 14 months do I still have to worry about her getting bigger?

2 years old is considered adult. Yes, she can still grow some more. She might grow a little bit, but as for "worrying" about it, there’s no need to. She won’t become a huge dog.
I think I read somewhere that they’re full grown at 2 years (human years)
Different dogs reach maturity at different ages. Generally, smaller dogs mature quicker.
Dogs can take up to about 3 years for their bodies to finish growing.
Approx 3 years old.
But they usually stop growing taller around a year and continue to fill out until 18 months or more.
Most dogs are grown at about 7 months, especially small ones like yours, but they put on muscle and weight until about a year to 18 months.
She’s cute, but I doubt she is growing at 14 months, maybe just getting more dextrous – and determined.
To tell you the truth, I would think a full-grown dog would be about 2-3 years.
All breeds are differant as to the age that they reach full maturity but on an average a dog reaches full maturity at 2 years.
