What kind of shoes should I wear to prom, if my date and I are the same height?

   wear ballet flats, because guys dress shoes usually have like a little "heel" so that way you will look the same height, but if you want to wear heels wear them,
   it’s your prom one in a lifetime chance

   wear flats. well not necessarily soo flat flat but DEFINATELY nothing too high. try wearing pumps. they look good but they’re flat and comfortable. they can also go with casual dressing so you can reuse them

   Flats, or make it punk-y with a pair of converse. You could do a black and pink dress with black or pink converse. That’s pretty stylish now days.
