What to do when you're extremely short and male?
Already posted this question but never got any decent ansvers. All i got was tips on how to grow more.. Wich im not going to. The gap between my bones are closed, checked with the docs. So gonna try again and hopefully some better ansvers will come up 
Well. Im a 5.4 tall or should i say short male, im soon 19 years old, And done growing, checked with the docs. i got a fairly handsome face and ive had 2 girlfriends in my entire life. got my first when i were 17. I like to think that’s because i was fairly fat (240lbs) until i decided to do something about it at the age of 16, were done at 17. Now i weight around 108lbs. Guess that’s a little to thin but im working on it, so ive basically been in the dating game for real for about 2 years, When it comes to my personality. Well im a guy with tons of humor, allot of people tell me that i should be a stand up comedian or something. Im pretty sarcastic and got a somewhat negative view on allot of things, but i express that in a somewhat humorous way. I like to think that im a fairly Intelligent guy, and im overall nice to others. And i do not really have a chip on my shoulders because of my height yet. Now that the introduction is done, here comes the question
One day like 1 month ago i came across this article about how short guys get a raw deal when it comes to dating and that were less attractive if attractive at all, Also that we might get lesser paid in jobs and lesser chance for promotion regardless of our education, I took that with a grain of salt at first but then my curiosity kicked in and i started to do research on the subject, and to my dismay there is a hell of a lot of those articles. Short people. Mainly males ranging from 5.1-5.8 whines about it on forums, i could go on. But the wall of text is large enough as it is,
So to all you women out there and men that knows something about this, Am i really that screwed when it comes to dating? Are *shrimps* at my height really seen as unnattractive?
If a shorter fella should read this, it aint that many of us
Are we really having a harder time getting jobs/promotions? and do we really get lesser paid?

Hey. I can really understand where you are coming from. In fact I am shorter than you. I am around 5’2 +- an inch. Haha I know! it’s really short. But I have managed to deal with it and never let it stop me from doing anything. Often I don’t even realize that I am short till someone mentions it, or I am stuck in a crowd. Although I guess it’s always on the back of my mind.
Firstly, I’m not going to lie and say that girls find short guys attractive. But, there’s nothing that we can do about that. Girls are allowed to have preferences as much as ourselves. I have seen other short guys get so pissed off at girls about this issue, but there’s no point. However, I should also say that as long as you’re not ugly, you still have a pretty good chance. If you have a good personality, you can charm many girls. Actually, I’m quite shy myself, yet I have managed to get dates and have relationships. Although, I do consider myself very lucky that the girls that I meet are very open minded and amazing people.
So girls shouldn’t be a problem. As long as you stick with the girls who are nice and not shallow. And ofcourse you will probably have a better chance with the shorter girls (but be careful. Alot of short short girls in fact like really tall guys). Although I did have a really tall girl interested in me once! So don’t let that stop you from chasing the taller ladies.
And Just one thing I noticed, most of my dates and relationships came out of friendships. So it goes to show that girl’s really will appreciate personality if you have it.
Now as for jobs. I am still quite young. I am in my early 20s. So my experience might be limited. However, I should say that I have managed to obtain quite a few nice jobs with big companies. And I see many short guys out there with good jobs. If you have talent, skill and you’re an overall nice guy, you should have no trouble with jobs and promotions. I highly doubt they will pick the tall untalented guy over the short guy who’s getting results. I guess it would also depend on the sort of career that you want. I mean if you worked in sales, or images related jobs, then yes perhaps short guys would have a difficultly with these sorts of positions. However, shortness should have no hinderance in careers that are technical, or even perhaps research.
Don’t let height stop you from doing anything. Try not to think about it too much as I done this before and it had negative results on my demeanor and those around me. It still lies in the back of my mind, but I try not to let it show. There’s nothing worse than a guy who feels sorry for himself. Be self assured, and know your worth.
It is tough for short guys, no doubt. But we just have to put in a little more effort, however the results make it all worthwhile.
Personally, I think shorter guys are awesome (and adorable), so I wouldn’t have a problem dating one (though he’d have to be pretty short to be shorter than me i’m 5’3").
Anyway, I think it’s all a matter of opinion, some girls like em’ short, and others always have to have them taller than them.
I really don’t care.
