Why am I so….TALL?????
im in 6th grade…im 5"8!!! When ppl see me, they think im in high skool…BUT IM IN 6TH GRADE!!!! 5"8!!!!!!!! Why am I so TALL???? My parents heights r average…well my mom is pretty short…..y??? but im not a "giant" but im reeeeeeeeally tall for my age. All my frnds in my grade are up to my shoulders….im taller than sommme of my teachers….i eat a lot but I think it goes to my height b/c well….im TALL and im reeally skinny…but not skeloton/stick skinny…Why is all the things I eat go mostly to my height??? Well it’s a good thing i guess but why is it????
PS: I stoped growing…well i grow little by little now. I didn’t get any shots…i’m naturally tall.
im not….adopted….i look exactly like my dad…lol

That’s just the way you are. You can’t change it. You don’t get to choose how tall or short you can be.
maybe your grandparents were tall you could get hteir genes or u were adopted

Being tall is not a bad thing.

You just had your growth spurt early is all you may not get any taller at all.

I was the same height 5"8 in sixth grade as I am now – and I am 26. Believe me I wish I was taller, 5"8 isn’t tall maybe you feel that way because you’re young.
Don’t think of it as a bad thing. Most models are at least that tall. Consider modeling one day honey! And for now, just ignore what people say because some day you’ll realize that their opinons don’t even matter.
Your parents may be of ‘average’ height but I’ll bet if you did some investigating you’ll find a relative (great grandfather) that was also tall. Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about it. Just accept the fact that your tall and maybe go out for basketball. Good luck.
well, maybe you just hit a sudden growth spurt and will even out now, its better to be tall then short…you can reach the cookie jar at the top shelf without help..lucky..
I’m an inch shorter than you and i’m in sixth grade. People rhink that i’m in high school , too and i’m taller than all of my friends except one and pretty much taller than all my teachers. Anyways, you’re just like my liitle brother. He eats anywhere from 3-5 nice sized meals and you can still see his ribcage. I depends on your metabolism and how your body wants to use your food for (in ur case height).
ps:Also genetics count. Maybe you have some tall ancestors.
lol dont worry about it, when I was in 5th grade, i was like taller than everyonee, and all the boys and everyone thought i was like 13 or 14, I hated it, but dont worry, when u get to high school nd prolly 8th, you’ll be jst as tall as everyone else.

My sister was just like that, except she was 5 6" in sixth grade. Now, she’s 18 and she’s 5 10", she ONLY grew four inches in almost seven years! And it has to do with your genes from your ancestors too. And I’m 5 5" and I’m in eight grade, I think that’s average. Also, your start loving your height when you get older, and you’ll learn to appreciate it =) It’s pretty akward when your younger. I was 5 feet when I was in sixth grade.
um, im in 9th grade and im only 5’3……you should be kinda happy, becuase im going to be stuck like this for the rest of my life, ill need to find someone tall to live with me just so i can reach my coffee cup in the morning!

beginning of year 5’6 (6th grade)
beginning of 7th grade 5’10 (now)
4in of growth in a year/ less
yeah your not that bad plus you’ve stopped i havent. im gonna be over 6 feet. no doubts. your lucky. im tallest in my grade and people think im 15-17 but im 12. has advantedges so USE THEM! and have fun being tall.
Yo I’m 14 and I’m 6’6 and i love all the attention, btw if u wanna seem shorter, hangout with other tall people. My best friend is 6’4 and my other friends are like 5’11-6’0 but guess what….there’s a kid in my grade that is 6’8 so don’t worry, your alrite because when i was in the 6th grade i wass 6’1
