		<description>no, but I know that there are specialists out there that can put a lift on any shoe now, not just orthopedic shoes anymore;; you NEED the lift to keep your whole side in alignment;; if not, you can develop hip, knee, shoulder &amp; low back problems, which can only get more severe over time;; the only other course is that if you ever need a hip replacement (LOL), they may be able to make it the same length (depending on the original length);; you won&#039;t find a doc to give you a hip replacement for your leg length discrepancy alone, not a medical necessity, no functional problem with the hip.. but check into the lifts, again, they do a pretty good job with them these days, &amp; usually people don&#039;t see the difference, unless you walk differently</description>
