will i get to my desired height naturally?
i’m currently ard 5.3 foot -5.4 foot tall and i’m 14 this year, my mother is around 5.1 foot and my father is roughly 5.2 foot. just asking, have i stopped growing? i really wanna try to reach 5.7foot tall if i really want, the thing is, is it possible to grow to that tall naturally? i’m reposting this because i’m still not sure if i can really reach 5.7 foot tall, any help would be much appreciated

Though genetics may play a factor in your height growth, your nutrition and life habits will have a much greater effect.
One of the most important factors for growth is sleep. Make sure that you sleep earlier than 11:00 at night (and try to get as much of it as you can.) Sleeping stimulates the production of growth hormones.
Second, exercise. By exercising I do not mean heavy weight lifting, but rather running, sprinting, and jumping. More exercise also stimulates growth hormones. Also, make sure you stretch every morning and at night … it makes your joints move apart.
Third is proper diet. Get a looot of calcium in your diet. just make sure that u get vitamin D as well. Your calcium won’t get absorbed unless vitamin is present. So milk is a great option because it contains plenty of both.
I hope that this helps you. Follow these advices and I think you will be able to boost your growth. Just remember that you still have more than 5 years to grow and that you have already surpassed your parents’ height (meaning that growing more shouldn’t be an issue.)
Since you are currently 14, your next major height growth will occur when you turn 16. That doesn’t mean that you won’t grow till then … it just means that you still have your major growth years ahead of you.

i think you can reach that easly,your growth will stop when you reach the age 22.

Funny question, my dad is about 5’9” and my mom about 5’5” and im about 5’10” (and a girl!) My boyfriend is like 6’3” and his dad is 5’10” and his mom is like 5’1”. Similar situation with my exboyfriend who is 6’6”. Height is somewhat hereditary, but each generation is getting taller. Scientists believe that heavy drinking, and smoking can stunt your growth. And eating a lot of health foods, exercising, and taking a multi vitamen for teenager males will all help you to grow taller
I hope that you will be happy with whatever height you achieve, but you are just 14 and I was growning until I was 18 or 19. Good foods, and vitamens!!
I am the ruffly Same age and already 5’7 it really depends on your genetics dont worry u haven’t stopped growing you usaly stop between 18 and 20 so just try taking Calcium in a pill (especially if your a girl) and you should be ok im not saying you will defanatly be that tall but theres always possibility’s
you worry too much. No one really knows what they will grow to.
all of my brothers, sisters, mom, and dad were all about 5’5 to 5’7. I hit 6′ 6 1/2. You can gain height up to about 30 years old. other things that gain size are breasts, feet, and muscle tone.
It will be kind of hard, considering how tall your parents are. That’s not always true though; you might just grow tall I’ve seen those before. I myself am not that tall either. (5’7") and I’m 17 =/. The most important thing is be confident with yourself. Being short is nothing compared to those who were born with deformities.

See this is a hereditary thing. If they are long then sure u will.
But nothing can be spoken about the hight u will reach.
I would recommend to use the walker and the rope-jumping as the easiest solutions.

You’re already taller than both your parents, and you’re only 14 so you have another 6 years at least to keep growing. Find out your other "blood relatives’ " (grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles) heights, and if any of them are (or ever were) near 5’7, then you still have a chance to grow.
Anyway, a friend of my uncle’s was very short all throughout high school (and was nicknamed accordingly), but then grew about a foot during his first two years of college. I don’t know his parents’ heights or anything, but I thought you’d like to know.

Don’t do gymnastics if you want to get taller. The senior guy at my school who just won "most likely to be mistaken as a freshman" is really into it, and the rest of his family are at least 5 inches taller than him.
